Quiet 2 Bedroomed Cottage, near the Lakes

A nice cosy cottage. Clean and bright. Towels and bedding good. Kitchen clean... A nice quiet location. Rear sit out area if the weather is good. Parking.

Couple of Cons- no hair dryer (super that this will now change). No ground floor mirror... this was annoying as had to walk up 1 or 2 flights of stairs for a mirror! I'm disabled....

Clear directions to the property and Mike who looks after the property was there to greet us. Private parking at the property which is always a bonus. The property was clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed for our stay. It's in a great location and very quiet. We left the car where it was during our stay and made the most of the excellent public transport links and walks. All in all an enjoyable break.

The dining table in the conservatory was downstairs from the kitchen.

Lovely place to stay, great location. Was super clean and incredibly good value. Would definitely return to visit.

Couldn't be easily helped, but we weren't made aware of the road closure that blocked the car into the driveway for the morning. I'm not sure whether the host would have been given notice or not. Made it a little bit stressful as we had an event to attend, and also quite noisy all morning. Luckily all worked out fine in the end and I cannot rate the place high enough from every other aspect.
