the location was great

We paid top dollar for an apartment that promised much more than it delivered. There was no hot water for the first 24 hours, during which we really needed to shower after an exhausting day made kore difficult by the need to go across town to get the key, only to join a several other people needing their own keys waiting in the hot sun for the late-arriving staff member. There were no instructions for the oven, which rendered it unusable until a staffer arrived on the 4th day of our 5-day rental. Although the smart TV promised all sorts of programing, none of it was available because the staff hadn't yet connected it to the internet, rendering it unusable except for Italian-only programming. The staff was surprised to learn that trhe sliding bathroom door was stuck in the wall and were unable to fix it; as a result any visitors to our apartment had to step in the hall outside our apartment whenever my wife or I had to use the bathroom. These problems were exacerbated by the staff's failure to answer the phone when we called; with no voicemail we were often left in the cold when we needed help or information. One staff member told us we deserved a price reduction and informed the owner, who never responded.

Location was perfect for us. Quiet and handy for bars, restaurants and shops. We did have a little problem with lack of hot water for showers and washing, but the support staff were instantly helpful and provided a temporary solution (it was a public holiday), until the following day when the issue was resolved. Very pleased with such rapid and useful support

It's a shame there was a lack of a kettle for boiling water to make tea or coffee. The hob, while fine, was pretty slow to boil a cupful of water.

Modern apartment in central location. It has A/C (but the unit is located in the hallway - not the bedroom or living/dining/kitchen area). It has a lift.

Messages prior to check-in ignored & resulted in a slew of responses on unrelated topics. Key collection from other location. Inflexible check-in. Online registration completed prior to check-in yet still required to register again when collecting keys from office & paying tourist tax. Installation of curtains/blinds in kitchen/dining area would help as well as provision of electric jug & coffee machine in kitchen. Be prepared for DIY troubleshooting if maintenance issues arise. The sliding door to the bathroom did not work & they did fix it. We were without hot water for more than 24 hours. Reported problem in the morning & then had to wait until 2030 at night for a company representative to visit to assess the situation (despite sending photos outlining error message on boiler). Technician could then only visit next day. Couldn't really understand the delay on their side - seemed unnecessary. Although property is modern, it is small (tiny bedroom) & not the easiest for a week-long stay for long-term travellers with a fair bit of luggage. Could not work heating.

Apartman wasn't clean,sofa-bed was dirty and has unpleasant smell. We did online check in as it was reguered, but still we were forced to walk 3 kilometars from apartment with our luggage to check in again,this time in person. Also we had to wait in front of some improvised office for person to come and give us the instructions for entering in the apartment. Then we had to pay 18,30 Euros for late check-in because we arrived in the office at 19:40 and we were in front the apartment before 19.The person who gave us the instructions for entering told us that we were 15.minutes late and that we need to pay late check in.We paid and asking for bill but they didn't give us any bill neither send us via email. Also they were very rude, unpleasant and unprofessional.They reguered from us not to leave any food, garbage or dirty dishes before we check out but still when we arrived in the apartment dishes wasn't cleaned.

The location is great, apartment is spacious, clean and functional.
