Holly Tree Cottage in Glastonbury

Das Cottage ist sehr zu empfehlen und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Besitzer reagieren sofort um Anliegen zu klären. Es liegt ideal ruhig und Nahe beim Zentrum. Den Sitzplatz im Garten haben wir genossen. Die Matratzen sind sehr bequem und die Daunendecke herrlich. Das Haus bietet alles um einen rundum zufriedenen Urlaub zu verbringen. Wir kommen gerne zurück.

We had a truly lovely stay – the cottage is absolutely beautiful and has everything you might need. It’s very comfortable, peaceful, and incredibly well equipped – from the kitchen to the cozy beds. The welcome drink on arrival was such a thoughtful touch, and we really appreciated the eco-friendly approach throughout the home – from recycling to the household products. The location is perfect: tucked away in a quiet, serene spot, just a 5–10 minute walk from the main streets of Glastonbury. It was a real joy to have breakfast or spend peaceful evenings in the charming little courtyard – calm, private, and full of gentle energy. We felt completely at home and would absolutely love to return. A perfect place to rest, recharge, and explore the magic of Glastonbury.

The only small surprise was having to do the final cleaning ourselves, which wasn’t mentioned before booking – but the clear instructions made it easy to manage with just a bit of extra planning.

Loved everything

The accommodation is in a great location with good accessibility everywhere. Clean, quiet place with just enough space for 4 people. We were 4 friends, it was just right. There was quality and delicious tea and coffee, ecological bathroom and cleaning products available. We were very pleasantly surprised by the possibility of careful waste sorting... even in the whole city. Pleasant terrace with a small garden where we sat every day. Upon arrival, I was a little surprised that there was only one blanket in the room where there was a double bed. Moreover, I imagine a large double bed to be a little bigger. I slept here with a friend, so it was a little strange to sleep on such a narrow bed and only under one blanket. But in the end we got used to it and everything was fine. However, I was a little disappointed with the communication from the hosts that they did not make the effort to provide us with a second blanket. But overall, I rate the accommodation very positively and recommend it to everyone.

Absolutely perfect stay in Glastonbury, so quiet yet so close to the Main Street for all the shops, beautiful cottage and sunny private garden and a double garage to park in too. Could not have wanted more. A welcoming bottle of Prosecco chilling in the fridge was a lovely touch. Absolutely loved it !

Easy walk to town centre. Car parking on site.Comfortable living spaces. Helpful information provided. A few steps outside bedrooms were well lit at night.

Some irregular steps to navigate entering through the garden. We didn’t find a hairdryer.

Fantastic location close to town centre. Lovely thoughtful touches waiting for us on arrival, fab to have eco friendly cleaning products and organic food products. Well equipped cosy cottage. Great to have parking for 2 cars on site. Enclosed garden which was very dog friendly. Loved our stay and would recommend.

We would highly recommend this beautiful home as a fabulous place to stay. We arrived on Christmas Eve to a warm and welcoming environment which was spotless. There was a welcome message on a chalk door, a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge and a home-made Christmas cake with card. All of which was a lovely and above and beyond touch. Furthermore, there was everything we needed for a stress free stay such as cleaning products, toiletries and an abundance of fluffy towels. There was even dog treats and a lead incase you forgot yours! The garage was perfect for leaving the car and the central location means that you do not need to have a car to explore Glastonbury. We have been visiting the area for twenty plus years to visit family and this is the best place we have stayed in. We all said that we would love to return in the summer and make use of the garden which is super cute. The key code access is super easy to use and we felt that we could call the owners if we needed to.

The hosts have thought of everything and gone above and beyond what is expected. Thank you so very much.

A very clean place to stay and only a couple of minutes walk to the high street, so close to plenty of pubs and restaurants.
