The Happy Rooster - Villa with Big Garden

The view is absolutely stunning. You can just stay there all day and observe how nature is changing. House is big,clean and has 3 levels. Garden around it is huge and extremely well maintained.You can hear a waterfall all the time. Great night sleep as it’s really quite. Plenty of wild animals around that you can meet on the way home by car. Also Kasun, who is dealing with the the property is wonderful and really helpful. And the view is really the selling point here

The ground floor is a bit unmaintained. Some equipment is broken or unusable( bbq,oven, no shower curtain, no carpet/towel for floor when going out of the shower. Also no shower gel and shampoo and soap on spot. Which is not a problem at all but good to know in advance. But all this is really minor in comparison with the place where you will find yourslef

The view is amazing. Nice large bedrooms and living space. Rooms and bathrooms clean but could do better as there were lots of cobwebs in the various rooms that we had to clean ourselves

We were told we could park at the property but on arrival we were told the parking is now not available due to the next door neighbours moving in permanently but we saw a number of different car plates parked in the parking space over the week we were here. This should be made clear as people coming here would definitely need to drive to the place. We were also told upon arrival that we need to empty all the bins and bring them down (a few kms away) to the big bins. Once again this was not made clear on bookings. Toilet tissues not provided and upon checking with the manager we were told the cleaning staff forgot to put with no effort to replace/bring any. Kitchen equipment needs replacement and one of the fridges was turned off and pretty bad smell coming out of it(mouldy)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible villa on Lake Como, and it exceeded all my expectations. Additionally, the price is more than reasonable for the quality and experience offered. I highly recommend this villa for families, groups of friends, or anyone looking for a memorable stay in this beautiful part of Italy.

No toillet on the main floor, but you have 2 toilets on ground and second floors.

The view was outstanding. The villa was very clean and spacious. It was amazing

The only problem was how high in the mountains it was located. You definitely need a proper car to reach it. But the view from the top is so beautiful and wonderful that it's worth it

Spectacular view - I was speachless when saw this beauty. The house is cosy, warm, clean, has everything you need for living. There is also a barbecue, which we did for one of the dinners. Very beautiful nature around and quiet athmosphere.

The road to the property was challenging - the last 5 minutes you going up to the mountain by old narrow road, it wasn't easy especially if you don't have experience driving in the mountains. Also can't tell if there any possibility to get there by any other transport except the car.
