Dar Hamouda Guest House - Médina de Tunis

Très beau Dar au cœur de la médina, le souk est à 1 minute. La deco, les équipements, le calme et la propreté de l’établissement sont au top. Je recommande et je reviendrai.

Great location in the medina and the house is beautiful. The hosts were exceptionally helpful and flexible. The breakfast was good.

Our room was directly above the street, which has several coffee shops. The street is busy and noisy from about 7 am to 10 pm, but quiet at night.

Hotel local is good, authentic docarated and new furnished. Bed was comfortable. The hotel owner is friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was not satisfactory, all customer having it on same table. The television was not working. Inside room there is no hairdrier, iron and fridge. The room doors are too close each other and sound insulation is not good so you can hear lot crowd of People inside that let you wake up from your sleep. And another strange thing is that taxi offer of hotel pick up from airport five times much than any transport application, 2 or times much understandable but not 5 times. I was aware of that on the way back to the airport. That is all what i experienced and have intention to denigrate. By the way good criticism makes perfection.

Dar Hamouda is a charming historical dar in the best and liveliest part of the Medina of Tunis. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom modern. The hosts (Mrs. Amel and her husband) were wonderful and very helpful. We particularly liked the joint breakfast where you could meet and talk to other guests at the dar. This is always a good opportunity to exchange experiences and meet people when travelling.

Hardly anything to object, but we think that the breakfast could have been richer and with more variety. Also the walls in the dar seem to be thin and poorly soundproofed.

Perfect location in the Medina of Tunis. Beautifully restored historical property. Excellent breakfast. Reliable driver to airport at 15 euros charge. .

This used to be a family home which has been converted to a guest house. It is spacious, beautiful, well cared for and a fabulous location in the Medina. The terrace has a beautiful view of the Medina and surrounding City. Staff were very helpful and friendly. As were the locals. Everyone was most helpful.
