The host, Ivan, was very accommodating and explained how the property was restored over the course of two years into the gem that it is now. He has a very tasteful eye for detail. Kudos to him!

Charming room with terrace, clean comfortable, hot shower with great water pressure-close enough to the center and excellent breakfast provided by local restaurant across the street, serving typical Mexican breakfasts as well as pancakes or waffles, coffee, fresh squeezed juice or bowl of fresh fruit. Loved my stay and would recommend absolutely as well as book again. Note-this is not a hotel but rather a delightful guest house with ample communal space as well as separate rooms. You’ll be met upon arrival and then come and go as you please. Marta was very responsive and was there when I arrived.

Location was very good. Not right in the center so a little quieter at night. Common kitchen and patios were a nice benefit so we could spread out and not be confined to our room.

Only item that needs to be addressed is the quality of the WiFi which is easily fixable.

We were met at the door by the friendly, helpful owner. The beds were comfortable and we liked the decor. We only stayed one night and didn’t have time to visit Tlaquepaque. It was a short taxi ride to the bus terminal. We would stay here again.

The front door is supposed to be unlocked until 10 pm. Someone locked it at least an hour before that and we were locked out. We knocked and rang the bell but no one came. Luckily, someone ordered pizza and, when the delivery guy arrived, we were able to get in.

Very comfortable room in a traditional home

It’s very close to all the action in Tlaquepaque, but still quiet enough for a great night of sleep. The property has tons of plants inside, a beautiful garden in the courtyard. Martha was very kind and made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The room is beautifully designed, I loved all the antique furniture. The complimentary breakfast package from the restaurant across the street is very authentic. Overall this is a great place to stay! I would absolutely stay here again!
