No heating, no hot water, dirty bedsheets lipstick on pillows, whole property was dirty

Location is convenient,, near a number 1 bus stop which are very regular into town but property is on busy main roads. If you are a light sleeper this may be an issue.

Nothing like the pictures, property is not currently in a good state of repair, various gouges out of walls and ceilings with scuffmarks throughout.. Smaller than description suggests although bedrooms are a decent size. I was told it was ground floor, you have to go up a flight of stairs. All springs had gone in my mattress in the double room. I had to put duvets from other rooms on top to be able to lie on it. Top of double bedroom door has big hole in it where pane of glass should be. No clothes rail at all in room with 2 single beds, for my friend. No wardrobes in property. Completely defective smoke alarms. One key given, all reported to lettings agent who never rectified anything at all. I was told previous tenant had caused damage, and taken other key. Told cleaners had another key, however nobody came. Told things had been ordered but no arrangements were ever made to bring anything or fix issues. Landlord came halfway through, told us how to get hot water as there was no instructions in property for this or oven,, he agreed with things that needed rectifying yet we never heard anything again from him or lettings agents.

They were very helpful with all kind of information and answered super fast.

For the price you can’t complain. It’s in a decent location only 10-15 bus ride away from town. Some decent food shops and corner shops near by as well within walking distance.
