Stunning new 1 bed apartment in Marazion.

Car parking for husband with disabilities was testing.

The location was right in the middle of Marazion walkable to beach, Sainsbury’s and other supermarkets a short drive away for provisions as no local store within Marazion. The apartment was well equipped in the kitchen and towels were provided. Parking which was a must for us.

The apartment was so close to the road my husband and I couldn’t have a conversation as the traffic noise was so bad. Double deckers passed by frequently and the vibration shook the front windows. My husband and I are recovering after cancer treatment and wanted a quiet apartment to rest at our favourite place which was not possible because of the traffic noise most of the day and some of the night. The noise from the other residents was also very loud arguing up and down the stairs shouting in the early hours. There was no air con and was a very hot few days with only four windows in the lounge at the top to open which was quite difficult without standing on a chair, the blinds had to be closed most of the time as security wise people would bang on windows walking past, and couldn’t open bedroom window as again people walking past at road level. The decor was to our taste although a little tired in places around front windows damp/vibration peeling paint and bathroom was a bit worn in places around the shower needed re sealing and also around bathroom sink. Handwash bottle old and broken. Husband did e mail host to ask to reduce our stay but no reply!

Superb location and with its own parking which is a big bonus. Perfectly clean and tidy. Warm and comfortable. Large comfy bed and linen. Well equipped modern kitchen. Big TV in lounge and bedroom. Large wet room shower. And consideratly planned lighting. Just perfect. See my photo of sea view between the cottages .

Nothing except my wife keeps haranguing me as to why the owner hasn’t told us where they got the duvets from!

The apartment was completely amazing. The decor was fabulous with a real luxury feel. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bathroom and hallway had some extra special touches such as automatic lighting if you should get up overnight. We go away quite a lot during the year and stay in lodges and apartments all over the UK. Without a doubt this is the cleanest apartment we have stayed in. We did not expect the extra touches such as the extras in the kitchen and we think this is a nice touch.

There was nothing we didn’t like. It was superb!
