The Hut@Trefechan Wen - Coastal Coziness!

Had a lovely stay in the hut, it was so cosy! It had everything I needed and more, a welcome basket on arrival with milk, eggs, cake and all the essentials. Hosts couldn't have been more helpful and picked me up from the train station and offered lifts when needed. Was also in a perfect location to access the coast path, would definitely stay here again!

The charming Shepherd’s hut is in a beautiful location, close to the coastal path. The owners were very helpful and friendly and readily available for any questions we had. Marty picked us up at the train station and delivered us to the ferry at the end of our stay. He was full of good information about the area, walking and bus routes. When we arrived we were greeted with a basket of milk, eggs, bread, butter and welsh cakes! In the fridge were a couple of local beers and the cupboards were well stocked -a helpful start before we made it to a grocery store the next day. The hut is small (it’s a hut after all;) but comfortable. Good bed and well-supplied kitchen. We were able to do our laundry too. We loved our stay!

The hot water for the shower could be better. A few hooks to hang coats, etc would be helpful too.

They are brilliantly host as they did bought a milk, bread, bread etc for us when we arrived also plenty of food in the cupboard which we aren’t expecting it. It’s everything we need for our holiday weekend which means we have a great time in cosy hut. It’s very clean.

Bed mattress, it’s quite uncomfortable. Shower is not that hot water but luckily we’re in summer holiday! Cooker manual should be in folder, at least we found the manual under the sink! The rest are brilliant as we was enjoying it

Beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean , and in such a quiet and amazing location

Very cosy, warm and well equipped shepherds hut. Bright and light. Really comfortable. Generously supplied. Whilst in a courtyard with converted stone barns, the shepherds hut was set back in its own private garden area. Lovely coastal walks from the property.

Shower was okay rather than excellent - could have high pressure, or hot, but not both.

Was a very lovely stay in the Goodwick area. Very stunning view from the hill the hut is on. And not much more than a short hike to Fishguard. Peaceful stay, and wonderful hosts!

Marty was there to welcome me when I arrived and the hut is beautiful in every way and very comfortable too. Somehow there’s everything you could need and wonderful views from its windows too. It’s spotlessly clean and the underfloor heating makes it very cosy and warm. It’s so quiet and peaceful and the bird song in the early morning was magical.

Nothing could have been better!

We loved staying in the Hut. It was a beautiful location, and the hut had everything we could have possibly needed. Marty went above and beyond in making us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. We went on some beautiful walks but equally loved staying in the hut by the fire and reading. We'd definitely come back!
