Luxury Duplex & Deluxe Rooms in Dili City, Timor-Leste

Very friendly and accommodating hosts. Spacious area's, very good aircon in bedrooms (however not in living room). Good price for Dili, with having a full apartment. Including a washing machine! Two seperate bathrooms, adjoining the bedrooms. Apartment is located on premises of family, including personnel. Close to supermarkets. Mikrolets routes are close. When the taxi didn't show up when we needed to go to the airport, the host graciously provided us with a lift. There was Wifi (even though it dropped out sometimes).

The beds were really awful... the big bed was way too hard (there was literally a plank in between) and the smaller one was squiky and not much better. The was a lot of noise from neighbours, lot of music at night and again at 6am, so we didn't sleep well. Very limited kitchen supplies. No dining room table. Not a lot of good restaurants nearby, but we cooked dinner most nights.

The host is incredible. Very friendly, very helpful and supportive. Initiates socializing to a healthy extent. The apartment is highly comfortable, well equipped and located nicely within the city. We are highly recommending this place, you cannot go wrong at all. Plus, very reasonable prices per night.

This property exceeded our expectations, it is nicer than the photos! The property is clean, spacious and has great facilities. The owner is very responsive and helped us organising a driver for a couple of journeys.

Clean and comfortable facilities

Hosts were not helpful in relation to getting taxis or letting us know where to eat.

This duplex had two very well appointed bedrooms, both were air conditioned with fans and had an ensuite. The kitchen allowed us to cook our own meals and was very clean. The living area was spacious, allowing us to all sit comfortably and best of all was the washing machine, which was much needed after our return from a diving trip. Noman the host, was helpful in arranging our arrival after a hopeless taxi driver got us lost for an hour. The duplex is in a secure compound and removed from the main road, but central to the city centre. The price was extremely reasonable and the duplex was unexpectedly luxurious.

The largest bed was uncomfortably firm and the smaller bed had an undersized quilt. The ambient noise from the compound required earplugs to sleep. No other negatives, we couldn't really fault this experience.

Noman is a very accommodating host who live in a separate dwelling on the premises. The duplex itself is a well appointed, spotlessly clean building, with two bedrooms upstairs each with its own ensuite. A well appointed kitchen and sitting room downstairs with gas hob, microwave, large refrigerator complete the picture. Great location within walking distance to most government buildings with several supermarkets nearby

Water pressure as low, but is being remedied I blelieve

The duplex is in a good location, easy walking distance to shopping and tourist sites. you won’t believe how comfortable and spacious it is. The pictures are an adequate portrayal of what you will be getting. You will not be more comfortable anywhere else in Dili. The owner Norman is the greatest. He’s well educated, knows a lot about the world and is as honest as they come. I feel like he is a brother and he made my trip to Timor Leste a memorable one.

My only regret is that I can not rate Tiny Duplex higher than a “10”.
