Redland Retreat, Cosy Garden Studio for 2

This garden room is bright and welcoming, with lovely decor, bright art on the walls and a superbly comfortable bed. Everything in the room is so clean and well maintained it feels brand new. There are deckchairs in the shed and while the garden is a bit scruffy, it was really nice to be able to sit in the sun with a coffee. Cotham Hill, with lots of bars and restaurants, is only 15 minutes walk away, as is the top end of Whiteladies Road. The owners have put together a nice folder of information about the local area, which was helpful.

Communication is with an agency, not the owner, and their tone is rather rude, not friendly at all. There is a security deposit of £100 that was not mentioned up front so when I got the request I thought it was a scam and ignored it, then they got demanding about it. The information about parking is lacking. There is actually pay parking right opposite, that is free from 5pm till 9am, and from 5pm on Friday till 9am on Monday, so great if you are there at the weekend. It’s a long way from Clifton Village and even further from the city centre, but Ubers and Bolts are plentiful and good value.

I thought it must have built since booking just for me , it was so clean & fresh I loved so much : dinky bolt-hole , efficient, garden brought me calm , the art was also pleasing .; cheerful colour . I was able to park for free across the road at Redland park area . Just a wee walk to buy milk . Peace in the city . Efficient heating in main space .

I found the heated radiator inefficient to heat the bathroom well . I would have liked a small window in the main space yo allow a breeze . ( there are patio doors onto the garden terrace) Neither would stop me revisiting this lovely flat .

It was bright, clean and modern. Very cosy.

Good facilities, good communication, very clean and comfortable bed.

It would have been good if there had been two comfortable chairs for relaxing in during the evening. There was only one softer fabric chair. Also it would have been good to have known in advance online that there was a plug-in induction ring as we thought that there was only a microwave.

Nothing not to like, absolutely brilliant property lovely location. Can't fault it
