Stylish, in an old house, historic center

The room was really comfortable and well-equipped, with everything we needed. Huge apartment. Its exactly as shown in pictures, super clean.

Its not very close to all attractions. I would say more than a km to all the attractions and One downside for me was the lack of good Indian restaurants nearby, and the few supermarkets in the area were also quite far. Just a heads-up, though: there are no lifts, so if you have a lot of luggage, it’s something to keep in mind. There are lots of stairs.

Great huge apartment, very clean, has all the necessary appliances, perfect location, amazing for both short and long stay. The only bad thing is lack of the elevator in the building - it was hard to carry luggage to 5th floor

Beautiful apartment in a great central location. Very comfortable. The payment was a bit difficult because, despite having self check in/out, someone has to come round to collect payment. Not a big deal, but something to be aware of.

Good clean but you have to lift your big luggage by yourself to the 5th floor. If you have small luggage its ok

I like the apartment, it was so neat & clean , exceeded my family expectations , everything is there what a family needs , & the society also very nice near main road, host gave us early checkin & lil bit late checkout , very helpful & nice host

It's in ground up 4th floor, very uneasy to go everytime you come tired from outside, & first day also was very uneasy while check in when we had a very heavy luggage , it was very hard to climb those flours with heavy baggage

Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The apartment was as described and very tidy.

There were a lot of stairs, so going up with luggage was a bit of a pain.

The room is on the 5th floor and actually I stay 6 nights during the trip with my very big baggage. Have to lift up by yourself it was really bad this point. Only stair no lift please keep in mind before reserve.

Elena's lovely, homely unit in the historic and very central 'Golden Quarter' of Almaty is perfect for a city stay in this lovely, walkable cosmopolitan city. The apartment has no flaws (although note it's on the top floor if you have any trouble with stairs!), is perfectly located for all the main sights - you won't need many taxis or Yandex rides - and Elena is an excellent and very responsive host! Highly recommend :)
