The Vijitt Resort Phuket

Everything was amazing (especially the breakfast - truly exceptional). I don’t understand the negative comments about the beach - it’s perfectly possible to swim in the sea during high tide (every morning).

The only negative was the relatively remote location of the resort from Phuket town/Pathong beach - if you don’t have your own vehicle you’ll probably need to rely on cabs, which can be quite expensive (especially the ride back in the evening). Though noting that the resort has a few shuttles to the city and back during weekdays.

El hotel y la decoración del complejo en general, las vistas desde la villa, el tamaño de la villa, la ducha exterior. El personal fue super amable. Las villas están muy bien diseñadas para estar muy abiertas a vistas pero a la vez tener privacidad desde las villas de alrededor. La piscina del complejo y el restaurante están muy bien.

La playa es bonita pero no es una playa para bañarse. Con las mareas es más como si fuese un "lago". Es bonita igualmente.

Le service au top, le personnel aux petits soins et souriants, petite voiturette qui nous récupère devant nos villas, les minibus pour se déplacer à la plage, dans la Vielle ville et l appli dans toutes les langues pour gérer les services ! Parfait … la piscine est grandiose avec une très belle vue

Les villas et les infrastructures sont cependant vieillissantes ! Une villa sur 2 en rénovation lors de notre séjour donc très bruyant ! Le bruit des meuleuses et disqueuses même coté piscine n’étaient pas très agréable ! Dommage

The rooms itself are fairly nice. There are private pools in some of the villas.

Unfortunately the 'renovations' meant that the side that we were located on basically looked like a construction site where ever we went. Kids club was under construction so they put a ball pit in an empty villa- this doesn't constitute a kids club. There are 2x restaurants in the property, one is closed for construction. Gym- closed for renovation. Spa is open but reception is closed for renovation. Food wasn't great either unfortunately. I did complain after the first day as we were so unhappy about our picturesque 'destination wedding anniversary' being in the middle of a construction site that we actually wanted to check out of the hotel. They did move us to a different room way from some of the construction for the second night but unfortunately our anniversary holiday memory was already tainted by the above... Also, our original booking was a two bedroom villa as we had our kids with us, it should state more clearly in the room description that it is a double story villa and that the rooms are completely separated by different floors and and an outside stair case as this does not work at all for families with younger kids.

- I like how quiet and peaceful the place is. Location is a perfect escape. - The room is spacious and comfortable with reasonable price. - Quick response of lobby, bulky, restaurant services - A welcome back complimentary (wine and cute messages)

1) The staff. The attitude. Not much professionalism concerning service and details. - lacks of clear information delivery (check in day) - treated unfairly between Thai and foreign (I’m Thai), low sense of caring/ message delivery (at the restaurant) - bad attitude (at the lobby on check out day) Overall 2.5/5 2) Food - salty - lots of flies - Sunny side up almost cooked, pancake almost burnt etc. 3) Renovation time It’s understood that during low season, renovations are normally be done. But during breakfast which is the only 3-4 hrs in a peaceful morning, is it necessary to fix a roof at the restaurant? Making noises and no staff seemed to care.
