Peaceful, really comfortable bed, fantastic shower. All the basics in the kitchen. Sarah and Darren were super helpful. A lovely tranquil stay

Nothing!

The Nest has everything you could need / want, nice secluded area with a fire pit and lots of privacy. Short drive from a small town with restaurants / the sea. I always appreciate when an owner leaves you to enjoy your stay but gives you a point of contact incase you need them.

We found logs but no fire lighters.

Sarah was absolutely amazing she went above and beyond, checking that we had everything, put lights and heating on for us arriving as we were arriving late. The drey was beautiful and smelt amazing! It was cosy and homely!

Nothing it was perfect

Gorgeous and cosy! So well equipped! Plug sockets in all the right places! Prosecco and choccies on arrival! There was nothing to dislike!

Excellent location for exploring the western lakes and the coast path. Sarah has thought of everything you could need for self catering and relaxation. Perfect place to return to after a day in the hills.

Fun, playful decor, amazing shower, good facilities / utensils for cooking, very easy to access keys & park, host was friendly and responsive via text. The outdoor areas were stunning - if only the weather had been better to enjoy them!

Would have been great if the property had been pre-heated on arrival.

From the moment we booked our host Sarah was very attentive and made sure we knew that she was only a message or phone call away if we needed anything at all so we felt very cared for from the start. We arrived at The Nest late in the evening after travelling all day and Sarah had popped some lights & the heating on for us which was such a lovely welcome. The Nest truly felt like a home away from home. The decor was absolutely stunning down to all the small details. The bed was super comfy and I fell in love with the shower which was massive! Everything that we could have needed was provided. We were lucky enough to see a red squirrel out of the bedroom window as well which was lovely. We wish we had discovered The Nest sooner and we will definitely be back. Thanks again Sarah!!

Good amenities, well furnished & decorated, very cosy and great location for my needs to see someone locally with limited guest space so recommended it to them for future visitors. Nice deck overlooking outdoor green space. Excellent bathroom. Milk in fridge on arrival appreciated. Everything I needed.

Parking tight and had issues with door lock but hosts very communicative about latter. Smart TV app based so couldn’t locate any freeview channels.
