The Nest by Blake view holidays, a peaceful boutique retreat, 3 miles from Ennerdale- small twin or king bed available

We booked The Nest as it was the ideal location for walks we had planned in the Ennerdale area. The accomodation was first class, furnishings, decor and facilities including an excellent shower. Everything that you required was available at the property. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts Sarah and Darren. The accomodation is a credit to both Sarah and Darren.

Nothing to dislike

What's not too like is more the question. Sarah and Darren are amazing hosts the nest is beautiful and felt like a home away from home. Unfortunately, we were ill during our stay so didn't get chance to do much sightseeing but we did enjoy a day in Keswick which was about a 40 min drive away. Would definitely stay here again, hopefully in the summer and in good health so we can make the most of everything. The christmas touches was also an extra special surprise. Thank u for your hospitality Sarah and Darren and for being so kind when we were poorly.

Comfortable and great location

The Drey was warm and welcoming. A home away from home with everything you could need. Having a private patio area and spaciousness within the Drey allows for the perfect retreat. This is a lovely place to stay if you are looking at great value for money and somewhere to get away from the hustle and bustle.

Cosy and well-equipped. Well located with two pubs nearby. Clean.

Single beds were narrow.

The accommodation was excellent, well equipped, comfortable and relaxing. Patio areas nice and great to sit out and enjoy the views.Location was great as were visiting friends nearby. Great area for walking with paths right on the doorstep.
