Stay Portland - The Etourdissante Suite - Forest Park & Local Eats

It was clean and well maintained. It was good value and the staff was very communicative with clear and friendly instructions. The location is walking distance from a great area!

The immediate location and building did not feel totally secure; it was a bit rundown. The space was also pretty tight.

Good location

The entry was through a narrow passage between buildings about 20’ -30’ off the street. When we arrived around 11 pm night (we had a late flight) there were no lights for the path and the host didn’t leave the porch light on for us. There was no signage and despite the description provided it was impossible to figure out where the entry to the unit was because we couldn’t see anything and it was so far off the street. Basically the “front door” is the back door in an alley where if you lived there you would bring your trash to. It felt unwelcoming and a bit dangerous. If I had been traveling alone I would have thought twice about walking between the buildings in the dark when we first arrived. I wouldn’t recommend this place for women traveling alone and arriving at night - much better if you arrive during the day.

I can't say enough good things about this perfect little gem! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how immaculately clean, stylish, and cozy the space was. As a solo traveler, this suite provided more than enough comfort and space, but I can easily see a couple enjoying a romantic and relaxing stay here as well. The location is absolutely unbeatable — nestled in a quiet, charming neighborhood, yet still close to some of the best spots in Portland. Every day, friends picked me up from the suite to explore the city, and coming back felt like returning to a peaceful, welcoming home. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the kitchen fully stocked with everything I could possibly need, and the bathroom was pristine. I also loved the thoughtful touches throughout — you can really tell the host puts care into every detail. Huge shoutout to Connor, the host, who was absolutely fabulous! He coordinated everything perfectly and was super quick to respond whenever I had a question. His communication and support made the whole experience smooth and stress-free — a true standout host. Whether you're here for adventure, relaxation, or a bit of both, The Etourdissante Suite checks every box. I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect Portland getaway. In fact, I’m already hoping to return this summer to celebrate my birthday here — that’s how much I loved this stay. Thank you, Connor, for such a wonderful and memorable experience!

There's nothing I can say that I did not like about this property!

Location

No window covering in the Livingroom, the next-door neighbor could see us when our lights were on and we could see them. No hot pad in the kitchen. No towels for drying dishes in the kitchen. Security, front door needs to be more robust.

Connor was amazing, cozy house, very comfortable.

Not having parking spot. However is easy to get a parking space on the street(paid).
