US没有满意的
USLocation, aesthetic, coffee setup, lighting, quality of appliances, just a great apartment!
USI love this location because I can walk to Kachka (one of my favorite restaurants) and feel safe. There's also a Market of Choice (upscale grocery store) 2 blocks away, and a bar across the street called the Basement Public House, where I popped in for an excellent beer while I waited for my check-in time. The apartment has a great modern feel within a classic frame. The bed was comfortable and, though I didn't use it, the kitchen seemed newly redone and well supplied. I received lockbox codes by email to access the building and the key to my unit. I never needed to reach out to the host for anything but the emails encouraged me to do so if necessary.
Finding a parking spot took some time. I arrived on a Wednesday afternoon. I had to drive around for a while and finally caught someone leaving right across the street, so I was lucky. A lot of the blocks have time limits so be careful of that. Also, the door to the apartment has gaps all around it, which let in light from the entry area all night. I didn't try to turn the light off out there in case other guests were coming through. If you need heat or AC, that unit also emits light from its display. I'll book again but bring a sleep mask.
AUIt was on the east side of Portland, close to the organic food shop, food trucks, and restaurants. It was a friendly neighbourhood and I felt safe. It was only 20 minutes drive away from the airport and less than 10 minutes drive from downtown Portland. It was just a great location and the accommodation itself was beautiful and clean and the right size for one or two people. I loved cooking in the kitchen and having the coffee that the accommodation provided. There's lots of things to like. I would definitely return to this place if I visit Portland again.
Not too much of a big deal but you can occasionally hear your neighbours in the other apartments, especially if they bang our shared hallway door shut. And I'm not sure why I would hear every morning glass bottles being thrown into the recycle bin. But these were minor distractions. I'd still stay here again.
USClean, easy to find, large rooms
Perfume smell on couch, parking on the street, stove can turn on gas without lighting, fair amount of stairs to go up
USFinding a parking spot was bad.
USVery good location, close to downtown. It’s a cute studio in a house which you can find everything for everyday use. Well equipped. Easy parking, you can find a place to park in the next street. Kind and responsive host. You can find many restaurants and beer gardens by walking distance. Historic and safe neighborhood.
When other people around in front of your door and talking to eachother it’s like they are talking in your room. I woke up with a people noise at midnight, guessing it was coming from next door. But I would stay there again for sure, not a big red flag. The host even provides earplugs for your convenience.
USInstructions were concise and clear. No problems finding the property, keypad, and key.
A suggestion, rather than a dislike, is to light the porch. I didn't see a porch light which would help one to see the keypad lock at night time. I had to use my phone's flashlight to enter the numbers on the keypad. Lastly, I'm not sure the heating works well. However, it was particularly cold in Portland the nights we stayed. So, perhaps extra blankets or space heaters could help.
