Host was super friendly.Apartment was great,have all amenties you need.Perfect stay.

* Enclosed yard with private parking * Plenty of greenery and flowers on the property * Smooth and friendly communication with the host * Helpful local tips from the host (grocery shopping, park & ride in Bari) * Clear instructions for using appliances and disposing of waste * Thoughtful welcome gift from the host * Close to a supermarket * Kid-friendly (high chairs, baby cot, etc.) * Outdoor area with toy bikes and cars for children

*Toy bikes and cars were sun-damaged and some were broken * Very thin walls — you can hear everything happening in the neighboring unit * The bathroom could use some maintenance (unstable toilet seat, flushing issues with water flowing continuously until you activated the secondary flushing button) * Limited kitchen utensils and cutlery; knives were dull, not too many plates/ bowls * Small ants on the floor * Only one replacement garbage bag provided for a 3-night stay, and none for recyclables despite recycling instructions * Frying pans were scratched and had peeling Teflon coating — should be replaced for safety * Ongoing construction near the property made it quite noisy during the day (no chance for a midday nap) * Some old or broken outdoor furniture/items were left visible in the yard — likely due to early season opening, but still noticeable

Very nice Location, a bit outside of the main city center. Quite perfect to relax in the evening. The rooms where really nice, you do not miss anything. A very friendly host, super garden, nice pool and all you need. Very secure, main gate, completely fenced, with own parking inside. A very nice place to stay.

In the direct neighbourhood there is currently construction works for a parking lot and a new sport center. This is noisy during the day and will for sure go for the next months to come. If you stay during the day, this could be disturbing. They finish work approx. 16:00 / 17:00 so in the evening and night it is absolutely quiet. To enjoy the pool and garden is fine then.

Paolo was so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We didn't hire a car as public transport was so close by. Buses were very regular. The weather was on our side, luckily, as we were there in early April. We had two super relaxing days at the pool. Paolo even shared a lovely cake with us. His wife had baked for Easter. Bari is a beautiful city to visit. People are so friendly and the food and wine are superb. We traveled by train from the center of Bari to some towns along the coast. The train system is easy to navigate and not overpriced. The WiFi was great. Always a must when traveling with teenagers!

Paulo was an excellent host particularly when rescuing my stupid booking mistake and with useful advice and recommendations Good facilities inside and out including pool and BBQ area which we didn't use much as a tad cold and windy. Would be great for kids too as lots of play equipment Some external areas looking a bit tired probably due to being end of season but can see Paulo updating all the time Coop supermarket nearby

Slightly further out of town than we realised and not near the beach, but easy and cheap to get into Bari and other areas by bus/train Would be excellent if you have a car

The hosts, The apartment, the pool, lounging area, privacy, quietness, transport links, nearness to beach. This place is the whole package. It is just a beautiful place to stay and the hosts were so warm and helpful to us when we needed it. I will never forget their kindness and thoughtfulness which is often absent when renting accommodation. Stay here. You will not regret it.

exceptional property, very spacious for a holiday rental; amazingly comfortable beds. Exceptional hosts who were so helpful with information on places to visit. Also very kindly allowed us to have use of the pool and garden after we checked out as we had a late evening flight.

only a tiny gripe, for us the property was probably a little bit too much in the residential area, would prefer to be in the hub of things

The property was perfect to relax and enjoy the weather. The host was super nice. The location was super private, exactly what we wanted :)

The only thing we would recommend is renting a car, because the location isn’t really close to the city centre of Bari and to visit other places it is really nice to have a car.

Our stay in Torre di Specchio was great. Paolo is an awesome host. He provided us with detailed information about Bari, Matera and the many other places to see in Puglia, about transportation options and parking and beaches to enjoy. What was great was the information Paolo sent prior to our trip which help us better plan our stay. Torre di Specchio is modern and spacious, equipped with everything you need. There are other guests in the Villa but it is arranged in such a way that it feels you have it to yourself. The swimming pool is great to cool off after a day of activities. We would love to come back to Bari and stay at Torre di Specchio.
