Kaho - Ohakune Holiday Home with Spa

Very spacious, clean and high quality appliances and utensils in the kitchen.

Beautifully decorated, practical spaces, everything where it should be and everything in good working order. The space was great, boot warmer and spa worked well. The whole place is really luxurious.

The only issue we had was putting out the bins. We read the instructions to put out rubbish in different bins if we were staying that night of the week, but couldn't find the bins anywhere. When we read that you could put out the big pink rubbish bags without a bin, there were no instructions on where to leave the bags. Also the clothes drying rack was too big to manoeuvre in and out of doorways.

Loved everything about it. Clean and beautifully setup. Perfect for our family of 5. The spa bath was a bonus. Convenient location. Our favorite place so far and we've done a lot of traveling.

Fabulous accommodation of a high standard in a lovely quiet location.but just a 15 minute walk to the town centre. The place was extremely well equipped, especially the kitchen which had everything you need and plenty of room to cook and dine. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms and showers very nice with lots of towels and good quality bedding and linen. The Lounge area was great and the tv and sound system top notch. The spa on the deck with views of Mount Ruapehi was a godsend after coming back from a good hike or bike ride. We couldn’t fault this place and it’s possibly the best accommodation we had in our 2 months touring NZ and that’s high praise indeed as we are pretty fussy and critical.

Slight noise from nearby building work but only from 8-4 Mon-Thursday and we were out most of the day anyway.

The living room was very comfy with a huge tv. Very clean and new feel.

There was no milk on arrival. The sunlight came in around the blinds early in the morning.

The house was very comfortable. It felt as though a lot of thought had gone into ensuring guest comfort

A very minor point, it would have been good to have had a couple of small sharp veggie knives
