Vanity Flat by "The House Of Travelers"

The location is perfect and the accommodation was so clean and nice! I can highly recommend this place if you are looking for a nice stay in Como!

The operator of the property has a Bag & Go facility just around the corner from the apartment where you can drop your bags safely before and after the stay so you can continue to enjoy Como without the bags. The apartment had a very comfortable bed, good sized bathroom, and an elevator which made access easy.

The air conditioners did struggle with the heat but that was expected given it was 35 in Como on the days we visited. Otherwise, the place was perfect.

Excellent accommodation tucked away in Como but easily accessible to all of the sites. Easy check in and it was very clean.

Nothing. Would suggest having a couple of coffee pods for guests and washing up liquid but this is very minor.

Spacious apartment, nicely decorated, close to the lake (about 10 minute walk) and within the city centre with a lot of restaurants/breakfast places and a supermarket around. The apartment has a dishwasher.

Toilet seat was broken, soap dispensers were empty, air conditioning was very loud and its light lit up the entire bedroom. There should be a place in the bathroom to put your clothes when you go to shower.

Although there was a coffee machine, there was no coffee provided. There was no sealed water upon arrival and no soap for bathing.

Location is great, very central and close to pretty much everything yet quiet and peaceful. Didn’t need to take any transportation over the weekend. Clear check in instructions. Staff is friendly and very reactive over WhatsApp, answering clearly to my questions. Very clean and nicely decorated. The building itself has a lot of charm with cobblestone and decorations on the walls. It really feels like living in Como as a local for a few days.

Limited amount of shower gel and shampoo. The containers were empty and we were given just a few packets. Only 1 roll of toilet paper in the apartment. We were able to pick some at reception but needed to ask. Thankfully it was during opening hours that we thought about it! Curtains are not the most occlusive. Needed to pay 5€ to store 1 bag after checkout while it’s free at hotels.

I love the place, its location and the cleanness of the property. The owner is too nice. The only negative thing about staying at the property was, there was no elevator so its hard to carry your luggages to the flat.
