Romantic rural cottage, log burner, Smart TV early check in ,large gardens

Beautiful cottage with a big garden. Hosts were on hand if we needed anything but otherwise let us to our own devices. Everything you could need is available and central location on the island was ideal for us

The cottage is very well furnished to a high standard and very spacious , the bed was very comfortable

The first 2 nights we found the cottage quite cold but it was very windy outside , the heating did come on with the timer but went off at 8pm, we did light the logburner which made it very cosy but smoke does come out of the top of the door on the logburner making the room quite smoky and smelly.

The bathroom was amazing. The shower is huge, and the bath was pure luxury. The log burner, albeit difficult to light initially, was so nice once Jane showed us how. The location is great because it's so quiet but only 10 minutes drive from the beach and plenty of shops / eating places. Jane, the host couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome and was immediately able and willing to deal with any queries.

The garden was lovely, but I have two dogs, one being a beagle who will follow a scent wherever that takes him. As the garden isn't secure, it meant having to take them out late night and early morning to pee.

Location was amazing. Cottage was beautifully decorated and accessorised. Was a great base to explore Anglesey from.

Couldn't get the fire going for love nor money! We are fire starting veterans but it wouldn't stay in lol.

The interior was excellent, done to such a high standard. Loved the bathroom and comfortable bed

Heating didn't appear to be on at the times stated , wood burner was a help to keep lounge area warm though. The garden was lovely but I didn't realise other unaccompanied dogs used it ( saw 2 on different occasions) , which wasn't ideal for our anxious dog.

What was there not to like. It's absolutely stunning the decor is out of this world , lovely gardens very peaceful place we will be returning again soon

Great location, very cosy, well equipped, loved the woodburner. Loads of space for us, really lovely accommodation. Owner was on hand if we needed anything.
