This beautiful little cottage has idyllic views and sits on a quiet road, far removed from noise and disturbance. It offered peace, comfort and privacy. Beautifully decorated, spacious and spotless; it had all the amenities we could need, and much care was taken to ensure that supplies, such as milk, butter and breakfast items were stocked. The homemade scones were excellent and a wonderful surprise. Our host showed us around the property as we arrived and offered us lots of fantastic information about the area, all relevant to our interests, and even followed up with a message of written directions and recommendations, which was greatly appreciated and, we have to say, were spot on. An absolutely amazing stay and we would love to come back to visit the area again, and without doubt stay again at Willow Cottage.

Nothing at all except we were only there for 1 night

The owner, Padraig, is really nice and met us upon arrival to show us around the accommodation. The bathroom is huge (largest room in the place) and luxurious. The view of the mountain is great. There's plenty of space for parking. It's a shame that we couldn't stay here longer. Everything was just about perfect. Should we come back to the Sligo area, we'd stay here again.

It's not a criticism of the place, but I didn't know how to use the Eirecode for directions. I would recommend people look up how to do that before driving here (because there is no "traditional" address). I just wanted people to know that it's best to use the Eirecode provided for driving directions.

Stayed for a night on 16/08/24. Was greeted on arrival by the host padraic who was super friendly and welcoming. Lovely spacious apartment with all required facilities. Stunning location overlooked by the gleniff mountains. Easy enough to find and only a short drive to sligo. Would definitely recommend.

Everything to our liking.

The accomodation is a traditional Irish cottage with a typical thatched roof. It is located in open countryside at the foot of Slievemore, surrounded by magnificent scenery. From Willow Cottage it is possible to undertake wonderful nature walks and/or visit the charming towns nearby. Inside, the cottage is lovingly decorated and equipped with every comfort (kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave, beautiful bathroom with bath and shower, comfortable armchairs and much more). Yoghurt, muesli, buiscuits, and mountain water are available for guests. The hosts also offer delicious homemade scones as a welcome (proof of the care they take in welcoming their guests!). In addition, the hosts sre very helpful in providing information on what to see in the area or where to find good food. I would definitely recommend Willow Cottage for a one night stay or longer!
