Overall, we had a good stay. The property is in a great location, which made getting around Manchester really easy. Parking was hassle-free and gaining entry to the property was straightforward, which was a big relief after a long journey. We also really appreciated the pool table — such a fun little bonus that added to our downtime.

Unfortunately, there were a couple of things that let the stay down. The biggest issue was the shower — the water never quite got warm enough and stayed lukewarm at best, which isn’t ideal when you’re trying to relax. Meanwhile, the sink taps could run scalding hot, so the inconsistency was frustrating. Another issue was the iron — it had a burn mark on it that ended up damaging three pieces of clothing. I let the host know straight away but never got a response, which was really disappointing. Communication is so important, and being ignored made us feel let down. It’s a shame, as it put us off returning despite the otherwise pleasant stay.
