Charming Getaway @ The City of Pines

We really enjoyed our stay @Charming Gataway@ The City of Pines. The house is clean and cute. Mrs Terisita is so sweet, nice and helpful. We are 8 pax which is just right for us.

The place was just perfect. It's the best Airbnb in Baguio we've ever stayed at. Very clean and well maintained. I give it a big TEN!!! Three bedrooms... Enough beds and pillows and more options of extra mattresses too! The powder room (toilet) downstairs was another big plus to the place. Manang Tere was the super host!!!! It may not be that close to the busy center of the city... That's what we wanted - a quiet peaceful place where we savored the clean smell of nature!

Just one minor thing... There's a half inch step up from the top landing on the upper floor as one walks into the "2nd living room" or family area ... It could cause one to trip or lose balance. Am thinking of a solution as simple as a light chain or ribbon stretched out waist high and to be easily removed if one were to pass ... Just as a reminder of that bothersome step. Better safe than sorry. Otherwise .... Twas a very very great home away from home for 7 of us and could have accommodated thrice our number.

Tita Tere, Ms Catherine´s mom was so accommodating, friendly and welcoming. She was so jolly to talk to and charming lady. The place itself is homey, coz you literally stay on someone´s house, and if this is the type of lodging you like, I highly recommend it as you would feel like you are living like the locals. There was no need for AC as the temperature drops in the evening. And if you do need some air, FANS are provided for in each bedroom. There was no need for us to buy drinking water as it was provided for already. Beds were comfortable to sleep onto. We definitely would go back if we are back in city of pines. Too bad we forgot to have photos taken with Tita Tere.

just a warning, if you like big toilet & bath, it´s kinda small specially for those who are claustrophobic. it´s not that we didn't like it, am just saying this for those who are use to spacious T & B. The most thing I didn't like was the Baguio traffic it was too much anytime of the day.

The Pine Trees where we parked

The property has actually only one bathroom contrary to the stated 2 bathrooms. To correct, the property has 2 toilets and 1 bathroom. Also, the breaker of the heater which is placed inside the bedroom has to be turned on every time we use it and turned off after use. We found it inconvenient especially when someone is still sleeping inside the room. Also, when we turn it on, it creates a loud noise.

I like the house you feel like home :) its really nice to stay for relaxing its very quite.
