Buenavista Apartment - ADULTS ONLY -

The property was located in a neighbourhood where you can really see how people live. You have a hypermarket 5 min walk from the apt. The apt was fully utilised.

The mattress and pillows were indeed not comfortable.

Really close to all amenities, beaches, supermarket, shops, restaurants and bars but also very quiet overnight. Helpful host who accommodated our request for a late check out and arranged an easy transfer for us.

A map of the town and some tourist information would have been useful.

To improve the experience maybe tourist information and a couple of bottles of water would be appreciated

The location was excellent, on a quiet pedestrianised street very handy for access to the town centre and shops.

Parking was difficult. Our tip for others would be to park for a short while at the Centro Commercial Martianez shopping centre car park, which is at the top of the pedstrianised road where the accommodation is, should only cost you a few Euros, and is open most of the day. This will allow you to unload your car and carry your luggage about 100 metres to to the property. Then drive down to the large sea front car park near the lighthouse (negotiating the one way system!) where you can park your car for free all day during your stay. We parked near some of the many camper vans staying there for security, and the car seemed perfectly safe there. The accommodation is a fairly short walk back through the town's pedestrianised zone from there.

Location in the central, flat area of Puerto de la Cruz was good with shops, restaurants, bars and the coastline all within a few minutes walk. Apartment was on the 2nd floor but there was a working lift. The apartment was small, but clean, tidy and relatively modern. The area was not particularly quiet at night but far enough away from busy bars etc, to be manageable.

The wifi advertised as being available within the apartment did not work at all for the whole of our stay despite us complaining about it on several occasions. There was no bedding or towel change at all during our whole stay (3 weeks). We asked about this but our requests were just ignored.
