"Hope they get to improve on this for future"

3.0

The price was affordable.

When we got to our tent, there was zero toilet paper at all. And no towels at all, zero. For a group of 4 can you imagine not having these upon check-in. I messaged the staff, but never got a response back till the day we checked out. For the whole stay, we didn’t have Toilet paper to use and towels. Unbelievable! How can an accommodation not have this? Like seriously…and even after asking for it, it was never brought to us at all. Good thing we didn’t have to stay long.

"SCAM! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! DON’T TRUST THE FAKE REVIEWS"

1.0

The employees were kind and tried their best, but it was clear they were mistreated and working under poor conditions.

SCAM! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! DON’T TRUST THE FAKE REVIEWS. WATCH OUT OTHER COUPLES WHERE THREATENED!!!!! This place is a complete SCAM. Nothing is as advertised, and it was one of the worst travel experiences we’ve ever had. 1. FAKE LOCATION – MISLEADING LISTING This property is NOT in Wadi Rum! They are lying and stealing the heritage of the real Wadi Rum camps. They deceive tourists into thinking they are getting an authentic experience when in reality, it’s all fake. 2. DISGUSTING CONDITIONS – ZERO RESPECT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT Trash everywhere, complete disregard for nature and sustainability. They do not care about their surroundings or their guests—just about making money. 3. UNSAFE, BROKEN VEHICLES The car was a death trap—broken windshield, broken doors, barely running, and at one point, we were left waiting in the middle of the desert while they refueled from plastic bottles. Absolutely unacceptable. THE WORST CAR WE HAVE SEEN IN THE DESSERT ABSOLUTE JOKE. WE PAID 80JOD 4. SCAMMERS PUSHING FOR MORE MONEY They were aggressive and pushy, trying to squeeze every possible dinar out of us. Other couples we met were even threatened when they refused to pay extra. This is beyond unethical. 5. OVERPRICED, DISGUSTING FOOD – LONG WAITS Dinner was NOT worth penny , yet they overcharge like it’s fine dining. We had to wait over 1.5 hours after the trip, completely exhausted (where ensured the hot meal will be waiting straight after sunset tour, food was cold and probably from days ago). Breakfast? Stale, old food that looked like it had been sitting there for days. 6. FILTHY ACCOMMODATION – AC TURNED OFF MIDNIGHT The apartment was neglected and dirty. Windows hadn’t been cleaned in ages, the AC was turned on for 2 hours after many requested, then as soon as we got to sleep he turned it off. This place is an absolute NIGHTMARE. Do NOT book unless you want to be scammed, disrespected, and put in an unsafe situation.

The location is great ! Bubbles are spacious.

We didn’t have heat until 11pm. Also the food was in the camp next door. Not a big deal but not the easiest with 2 babies.

The tours that they organised (for additional money), were good value for money. The dinner (also purchasable separately) was nice.

'This tent's special features are the hot tub and the fireplace' - this and many other things is simply not true so the place doesn't deserve more stars. - The place advertises to have a hot tub. It doesn't. There wasn't even hot water in the shower for the first night. We complained to the person there, was told they will turn it on for an hour, but it didn't happen. - The place advertises having an own fire place. In reality, they only turn on the AC late at night (after you have to ask) and they turn off the AC heating in the middle of the night, so you can wake up to a freezing room in winter. For this much money, one would expect to control the heating and not having to complain all the time. - The place looks like it is in the protected area: it isn't. It is north of that with a lot of trash around the place. - The breakfast is very poor. The cheese was old and they also served second day fries. It should be: "Buffet and à la carte breakfast options with warm dishes, local specialities and fresh pastries are available every morning." - lies. - The tent should have a kitchen, stove, toaster. Forget about it. They only had a hot water kettle in another building. So this way food we brought went bad. - Also no: hairdryer in the tent, amongst many other things they advertise. When I complained, was just ignored. There barely is any mobile reception here, otherwise would have asked for a new place from Booking.com. As for communication: had to write multiple times to the host on booking and Whatsapp to get their attention. Wasn't an easy start.

It was worth the cost. The jeep tours were ok- not what I expected but fair enough. My husband tried the dinner buffet and like the zarb. Rest was ok. They had provided drinking water and facilities to make tea, coffee in the common tent. The rooms looked beautiful from outside but the windows were super filthy and couldn't see anything through them, I would have given a better rating if we could see through the windows because the night sky was awesome. We had only one towel but didn't take a shower, so no idea of the water was hot or we would get other towels. Shampoo and a soap were provided. Overall, I have stayed in simpler desert campus at the same cost, so find it worth the money. The property was otherwise good and my kids enjoyed it.

The windows. Based on prior reviews, we had arranged for jeep tours via the camp to avoid charges for transportation to camp. However the sights were slightly different than what I had expected from other jeep tour itineraries.. Can't complain much because in the end all of the desert is beautiful! The owner asked us to cancel our booking and pay directly which I didn't like as I make sure I have opportunities to review the stay.

"Don’t go to this camp if you want to have the best experience in Wadi Rum"

3.0

Good pricing but no pro

Note very pro camp seems like it’s a family making easy money without being at the standard. No toilet paper when arriving no hot water during the day no towels in the room when arriving dirty yellowish pillows with no cover so everyone sleeping on the same … dirty room overall Desert tours done by guys who explain nothing we paid 40 JOD to go sit with a family drink a cup of tea…instead of having someone to explain the starts and stuff AC did not work in the night and the desert was as cold as antarctica….. During the sunrise tour the guide alsmost did not wake up and we were waiting in the cold desert at 6 am with no guidance. The manager of the camp asks to pay and book tours as soon as you arrive in very pushy manner. The photos on Booking are definitely not legit and alsmost feel like they are fake or photoshopped. In short avoid this camp.
