We are a family of five and spent four wonderful days in this beautiful house in Carloway. Everything was spotless, very well equipped, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The children loved their space upstairs and slept wonderfully. The house is truly cosy, with a warm fireplace, a spacious dining area, and an open-plan kitchen that’s perfect for family time. The cherry on top: the outdoor wood-fired hot tub (without bubbles), which was such a treat — especially in the cool weather! We also really enjoyed playing pool and darts as a family — great fun even when the weather wasn’t ideal. Calum is a lovely host, very friendly and welcoming. We had great conversations with him, and he kindly showed us his sheep and the newborn lambs, which absolutely delighted the kids. Carloway is a fantastic location to explore the island — very close to the Blackhouse Village and the famous Callanish Standing Stones. This stay will remain a cherished memory in our hearts. We truly hope to come back one day! Thank you !

The house, facilities and location were all amazing, and we thoroughly enjoyed use of the sauna and hot tub in particular, it was such a treat! The hosts were fantastic also, thank you for taking such good care of us, and for the fantastic baking. We will definitely be back again! Thanks again!

wonderful owners. beautiful house there was everything .Great playroom, and wonderful evenings by the fireplace and the smell of burning peat ☺️ sheep behind the fence. Peace and quiet . we will miss this place ♥️
