The house is easy to find via Google maps and there is on-site parking. Our host had been in touch beforehand and had left the keys in the mailbox by the gate. The house is in a nice, quiet location, a short drive from the beach, and a short walk back to the main road for a coffee shop and an excellent taverna. The apartment layout and furnishing is just as shown in the photos. It is evidently an apartment in which someone has lived, because the shelves have books, the cupboards have bedding, etc. so it feels quite homey. The mattress and pillows were comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water and decent water pressure for the shower. A liquid soap dispenser and some mini shampoos, etc. are provided. The kitchen is well equipped for glassware, crockery, cutlery, pans and utensils, and it has an electric kettle, a filter coffee maker and a pod coffee machine. Also provided were sugar, tea, filter coffee and filters, friganies, butters, marmalades, honeys, sesame bars, a dozen mini chocolate wafers, 2 small bottles of water, and some cans of soda.

The corner shower is quite small so the shower curtain tends to cling to you, and there are no sharp knives for fruit, bread, etc. More importantly, the central-heating thermostat stopped working after our first evening; we informed our host but heard nothing further. The A/C unit in the main room does work but is inadequate to heat such a large space, and as there is no A/C in the bedroom it was quite chilly. If it weren't for this I would have given this property a score of 10.
