A gorgeous property, designed with style and comfort in mind, with some lovely little touches, eg a coffee machine, welcome biscuits and an excellent information pack. We loved The Cow Shed and hope to return.

Modern luxury in an ancient cow shed! owners Rachel and Chris have created a unique place! This place is full of light, expansive exterior views, and really nice interior accoutrements (like a Bluetooth Bose speaker, dishwasher, and “black and white” bathroom!). A private courtyard has a bbq and lovely sitting area. A mown path leads through the paddocks to a young wooded area with a resident badger. Hawks are seen hunting rabbits in the oat fields while fat bees buzz on red poppies and blue bachelor buttons. My wife and I have been traveling in the UK for 2 weeks, and this is the best (only?) room review I’ve given.

We didn’t have time to stay longer!

Lovely shed/barn conversion to a modern studio flat. Idyllic location (between villages) with a lovely private paddock to wander in out back.

Bit of a hike to nearest supermarket - which is good and bad of course!

Very cosy and well set up.

2 points, Telly a bit of a faf to get logged onto some sort of blind is required between the stove and the windows as daylight floods in. not ideal if a light sleeper as i am.

"A little slice of peace and luxury"

Amazing place- so much thought and care has gone into this barn conversion. I almost don’t want to praise it so that others don’t find it but Rachel deserves the custom! Stayed for work purposes - really wish I had had more time to spend there.
