Cosy 2 Bedroom Flat in Lake District

The property is newly renovated and is very fresh, quiet, bright and clean. Literal steps to anything in Kendal town centre - the location is ideal for exploring the town. Note that the flat is in the middle of a pedestrian-only precinct, so there is no adjacent parking. We had small issues with taxi pick-ups as there is no direct car access to the flat. On the whole, we felt this was an advantage, as it made for a very quiet, peaceful environment. Absolutely loved the flat entrance with the “shambles-esque” alleyway. Could not be more central, we walked everywhere in town in under 10 minutes. Bedrooms and common area were comfortable and bright.

A very minor complaint, but we found the flat a little bit under-stocked with necessities… only half a roll of toilet tissue, no facial tissue, paper towel or surface cleaner. These should all be plentiful so guests don’t have to rush out to buy them. The kitchen would also benefit from a few more amenities (baking sheet, large pot, trivet, more prep utensils) if guests are to use it to the fullest.

I liked the location, the flat was spotless and warm.

There’s no parking outside the property, but the car park Was only through a wee lane.

The apartment was excellent, well appointed, exceptional clean fantastic location in the centre of Kendal. I would certainly be visiting again. For those who haven't yet. You must. I can most certainly recommend you to stay.

Good location, lovely decor Easy to park

A lovely clean, warm, modern flat right in the middle of Kendal town with free parking within easy reach and less than a minute away. Even though it’s a flat, there was a secure space at the bottom of the stairs to leave our pram. The bed was also comfy.
