GBMy wife and I stayed at the Vanglesis apartments from 08.09.24 to 20.09.24, the location is wonderful, the garden and the forest from the window on one side of the house and a beautiful view of the sea and the mountains on the other side, you always have a balcony in the shade and there is a balcony on the sunny side, each balcony has chairs, a table and a structure for drying clothes, the apartments are more than 3 m high, air conditioning in each room, wide swing doors with mosquito nets and sun blinds, the rooms are spacious, the living room has a mini-kitchen and the necessary kitchen appliances, dishes, cutlery, there is also a clothes hanger, a sofa bed, four chairs and two tables, the bedroom has the necessary furniture, including a safe, and a large double bed with a high mattress of the right firmness, we highly recommend for couples, the wall-mounted TV is very convenient to watch from the bed, Wi-Fi worked great, we did not see any mosquitoes. We arrived to Corfu late due to flight delays, but Vanglesis was waiting for us in front of the house at night, and in the living room there was a gift for us: a bottle of delicious red wine and sweets, and in the future Vanglesis was always in touch, responded very quickly and positively to all our requests, he provided us with a beach umbrella, a needle and a useful list on the map of local beaches, shops, restaurants.... The best sandy beach of Corfu is in Dassia, just 650 m from the apartments, all beaches in Greece are public, so we relaxed under our umbrella on the free areas of the beautiful wide sandy beach in front of the elite hotel IKOS, and at this time the apartments were cleaned and bed linen was changed daily. We bought fresh products in nearby stores, and we also bought fresh fish nearby from the owners of small family restaurants, where we had dinner, where the seafood was very tasty and where we were very nicely served.
We liked everything in Dassia. We are very grateful to Vanglesis for his warm welcome, care and attention to vacationers. But we did not like the beach in the neighboring village of Ipsos, right next to the beach there is a highway, the beach is pebbly and very narrow. However, we liked the restaurants and shops in Ipsos.
