The whole experience of staying in this beautiful apartment, which had been a gift from our son, absolutely made our holiday. It was a perfect place to stay for my husband and myself, and so very convenient to the pool and all local amenities.

Nothing at all, it was perfect.

Amazing location in Las Americas – straight from the garden to the pool. We were travelling with a baby and the baby monitor even reached the pool, so we weren’t stuck inside during naps. Most amazingly, the complex is very quiet so by 7PM there was no noise from any of the many apartments. Family-friendly setup with a high chair, crib, toilet seat, paddling pool, and beach toys. The kitchen was stocked well – loads of utensils and even tupperware, which made meal prep and packing snacks so much easier. The host Pietro was great – super responsive and even brought drinking water and extra tea towels. The area is simply the best - lots of bars, cafes and restaurants and quite a few shops close by. Mercadona is a 15 min walk away for well priced selection of foods (some of the stores mentioned in the handbook are very expensive, e.g. sliced bread for 4 euros at Granvia).

The house manual was on an Android tablet, which was confusing for Apple users like us. A paper version would make things easier. We also did not use the Sonos sound system which was in each room out of respect to other residents and guests. We did catch a cockroach – not a huge deal, but worth mentioning. The bedding was pretty thin (a sheet and a throw over it) and we would have preferred duvets with duvet covers. In person check-out could be reconsidered as there is a lock box on site. We had to be ready 20 mins earlier than we wanted to and had no freedom to choose a later bus to the airport as we had to agree a time of arrival and have the apartment checked out. The water boiler was small, so we had to time our showers and leave gaps between each person.

Everything you could want for a lovely holiday.

Fantastic apartment, everything is new. 5 second walk from the pool makes it ideal for young kids. Our host was so friendly and helpful, we were left wanting for nothing. The apartment complex is very quiet at night, and has a supermarket underneath which opens from 8am - 12pm. There is also a late night pharmacy 1 minutes walk from there as well. Apartment has speaker system which allows you to play different music in different rooms. Heated bathroom mirror and shower is excellent, high pressure hot water. Washing machine and dishwasher are a great help, and although while we were there (mid march) the entire outdoor area doesn't get covered in sunlight, but there is enough throughout the day in one area to get your clothes dried. Couldn't recommend this place enough, will be returning here very soon.

The location of Parque Santiago 1 is excellent as is the property on the complex itself. Both the owner Michele and his colleague Pietro were very easy to get hold of and answered all our questions.

Only one very small thing, the TV in the lounge didn't have English channels set up, both Pietro and Michele tried to help with this to no avail, however the TV in the bedroom did so we managed to get around the small problem.

A very stylish and well equipped apartment. Combined with a very useable outdoor space.

It did take a couple of hours to navigate all the hi tech features.

We have a lovely relaxing stay at this apartment. The host Michele was super helpful and provided very useful information for our stay. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfortable. It was really a home from home to stay here, and probably one of the best places I have stayed in a very long time. The apartment is newly renovated to a very high standard and we were aparently only the 2nd people to stay there. Washer/dryer machine was really useful for laundry of towels. Very well equiped kitchen which even had a dishwasher, where we mainly prepped breakfast each day. Location was great, with shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars all within a short walking distance. I have only good things to say about this apartment and would highly recommend it to others. We would definitely make a return trip.

My only suggestion is perhaps it would be more convenient to provide the keys in a lock box (self check in) rather than waiting to meet a member of staff to check in and out. Don't get me wrong, this person kept us very well informed as to where to meet them and was very friendly on arrival, however we had to leave the keys in a safe place to check out as they arrived late. We had to leave in our taxi for the airport before they arrived, which was a little stressful.
