Very unpleasant experience, stay away

Review for Specious Home, Tilburg We booked this place three months in advance (on August 3rd) for our daughter’s graduation on November 3rd. The location and photos looked perfect — close to the university, highly rated, and very promising. Unfortunately, the reality was completely different. The property looked more like a neglected dormitory. The bed sheets and linen seemed unchanged, with visible hair on them. The air conditioner was extremely noisy, there was no heating or ventilation in the bathroom, and the corridor looked like a construction site. The patio was unusable. We contacted the host, who admitted the issues and offered cleaning at 4 p.m. — right when we had to get ready for the ceremony. We couldn’t stay under these conditions and had to book another hotel at the last minute. Although the host agreed our reasons were valid, we received only a partial refund (€91.17 out of €471.30). The property is not as shown or described, and this was a major disappointment. I hope this review helps future guests make a more informed choice.

Emplacement idéal pour visiter le parc Efteling. Un grand supermarché très bien achalandé juste en face. Appartement très bien équipé et moderne.

Un bruit type ronronnement raisonne sans interruption dans la partie salon où se trouve le canapé lit. Nous avons été gênés par ce bruit toute la nuit. Il y avait des travaux dans la partie arrière de l'immeuble, les ouvriers passaient par le couloir. Notre fenêtre donnaient directement sur les ouvriers. Niveau propreté, le sol n'avait pas été bien nettoyé, beaucoup de saletés encore collées. Les lits grinçaient.

Hello, The accommodation is pleasant. Strong points: Great location, with a supermarket about 50 meters away, just across the street. Spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is in good condition. The bathroom has two separate areas for greater privacy. The only downside is the construction work taking place in another apartment as well as in the outdoor area, in the garden behind the building. It is noisy, and the entrance is always dusty. But it will improve the stay for future guests. I would also like to point out that the coffee machine has started leaking water. It was a positive stay! Thank you for the hospitality.
