Mandala Apartment & Resort Chambay, Mui Ne - By B4B & S3

It’s very nice viewing looking out to the ocean from top of the hill, nice swimming pools. The premise is very clean the unit is quiet and comfortable.

The location is very far from the city, restaurant…. If I don’t have a transportation to move around the rental motorcycle is little steep compared to others because of no competition

The resort/rooms were clean, the pools were nice and the price was reasonable.

The location is way too far out of town. So far out that tours won’t pick you up from here from Mui Ne or will charge extra. The layout of the resort is bizarre with you having to contact your “host” via WhatsApp to arrange anything so everything is completely disconnected and difficult. Staff have limited English and there is constant confusion and difficulty explaining things. The resort also as good as closes at 7pm and there’s nothing to do so you’d have to get a 25 min+ taxi into town to do something and the same back.

The rooms and beds are very comfortable and spacious, also if you get a sea view the views are incredible The location is great if you're looking to do the sand dunes The buildings are brand new so all the finishes feel high quality and clean The infinity pool views are insane

Nothing is as it seems with this place, the Booking.com listing is misleading. It makes it look like a resort with all the facilities you could ever need in one place, but this is absolutely not the case. There's only one restaurant catering to this entire resort. They serve buffet food and charge you 550k dong for one portion which is insane. There's also no bars at all, there's a tiny one in one of the pools but that's only open during the day. The staff are a bit weird, some are friendly and helpful but the majority seemed standoff-ish, rude and keen to try catch you out to get more money out of you. You can't use the gym or most of the pools without paying extra. The staff also are very quick to shout at you for not knowing you had to pay 250k to use a pool in your own building - but yet you can sit beside the pool free of charge. It's all very confusing. The entire place just gives weird vibes, it's so isolated that you really have no option but to eat pot noodles and Oreos from the mini-marts dotted around in the resort. There's no reception desk as such so you're entirely reliant on random staff members being reachable on a dedicated app they make you download for help or assistance.

Clean facilities, kind and responsive staff, fast wifi.

The beach right in front of the hotel seemed not to have been cleaned at all which was a disappointment. The breakfast at the hotel restaurant is pricey, but there are several affordable diners at the property.

Huge resort and nice spa, gym, pool facilities. Multiple restaurants on site but only Vietnamese cuisine. Lovely infinity pools on the rooftops.

The structure of how the staff worked was interesting. I have never experienced service like it. No one at check in desk, you speak to a ‘butler’ over WhatsApp who can deal with requests or queries. There was very limited staff around to help or who knew the answer, had to ask multiple people but lots of different answers for the same question! Seemed like no one knew what they was talking about! No pool towels provided, despite being 7 pools. No hand soap or body soap in the bathrooms. Location isn’t the best if you don’t rent a scooter.

Price, room, finish of everything pure luxury. So good for the price. Views from our room and rooftop pool amazing. Little shops on the ground level were cheap and tried some of the cafes and chicken shop too all cheap and yum and the staff were all nice. Nice gym and so many pools you can always find one that's quiet unlike alot of hotels where the one pool is mobbed. Poolside bar looked amazing and there's music and a pop up bar every night but music stops around 10 which is nice to get to sleep. Bed and room was super comfortable and spacious couldn't have asked for any better. You can go down to the beach too and there's beds to sunbathe on down there which is nice in the evenings when the sun isn't hitting the hotel pool. Staff were all very nice especially all the security guys who got us a taxi man who was also lovely gave me his Whatsapp and was always just a text away.

No ATM on site and all of the shops/restraunts are cash only just wish we knew before arriving. Staff in all these shops have very little English but completely fair, we used Google translate with them and were all so polite and friendly. The only downside was 'the bay' restaurant, the only official hotel restaurant, the food was not very nice and quite expensive. If they improved the quality of the food it would be the best hotel I've ever been to and such good value for money. If you don't want to eat there you have to get a cab to Mui Ne which is about €10 each way but there are some lovely restaurants. Also there was a hob in my room but no pots pans plates cutlery any of kind so I'm not sure what I was meant to do with it haha

Nice beach and swimming pools. Room was nice and spacious. Room was well equipped, but providing kitchen with no dishes or equipment is kind of useless. The place is quite remote, so there are limited dining optoins. Overall happy, recommend.

Fabulous,, quiet and romantic place. Highly recommended. Will visit again
