3 bed house near Gatwick and Redhill

Lovely cottage, enough space with three rooms! Everything you need. Would stay again.

The beds are really soft so uncomfortable for us - but that is just our preference.

Finding the correct address (property) afternoon 😞

West Lodge is a spacious standalone home which would be great for a family or friends to stay in, it even has its own garden where children could play. It worked well for us as a family of adults, visiting the area. There is lovely decor and furniture in the living room and bedrooms, with very nice bedding. In particular I can vouch for the master bedroom mattress which was SO comfortable! There is one bathroom and also a separate downstairs toilet. The owners have a great warmth with excellent customer service. I am happy to recommend.

There is just one bathroom which was OK for us, but might make it a challenge if the whole group had wanted to get showered at the same time. The bathroom and kitchen need a little bit of updating.

Lovely house, good location, nice modern decor, good facilities, comfortable. Recommend the Red Lion pub literally 5 mins walk up the road. Some great walking trails too.

Overall it was an excellent stay, the only elements we didn’t like was that there was a sewage smell outside the property. You couldn’t smell it inside with doors closed and may not bother everybody. May just be a location thing and can’t be helped and may have just been when we stayed. Only other element I would improve is the shower as it wasn’t very powerful and the temperature was hard to gauge.
