King Street Studios - King Edward II

The place was fantastic. Just what I needed for a few days to myself within walking distance of central York. The internet was great. The shower worked and the kitchen had everything I needed. The app for the door worked perfectly. If I need to stay in York again I would want to stay there again.

My only criticism, although it didn't affect me that much, was that there was building wrk going on across the street in the daytime, and then quite a few evenings there was noise from a pub nearby. It didn't bother me much, but if I'd had kids or been more sensitive to noise it might have been a big problem.

Complicated entry system using your phone as a key was clunky and difficult - hearing / towel rack again too complicated - tow rack had a LED display and menu when a simple on or off function would have been better - outside apartment was noisy especially at night - you could also hear apartment above

Было бы здорово, если была бы стиральная машинка. Немного шумновато ночью, т.к. на противоположной стороне улице расположен популярный бар.

Really well presented and clean. Love the decor and scandi vibes. Such a great location, super close to everything! Great spot for a break in York!

The stone roses bar is opposite which was a title noisy 11-1 ish, just people queuing outside. We just closed windows, blinds and pulled the curtain by bedroom which blocked a lot of this out. This was no issue to us at all, but something to be mindful of when booking your stay

The apartment is spotless & in a fab location. It’s light and airy and modern with great appliances & a very comfy bed! It was a fantastic price. Daisy was fantastic, she was super helpful & very responsive.

I would come again but not with my children. York overall isn’t child friendly in my opinion. We weren’t allowed in bars past 7pm so found ourselves back in the apartment very early. The apartment had no TV & was very lively outside (this would not be an issue if we had come alone!). The digital key was a little bit temperamental but we managed it after a few attempts.

Everything in the apartment was brilliant! Very clean the bed was very comfortable Perfect location once you knew your way around.

The neighbours! The upper floor studio residents where horrendous they decided to party till 4am banged around all night and decided to argue with each other till the early hours we didn't get much sleep but obviously this isn't the property's fault!

Location was excellent everything was very clean and seemed brand new

No TV and flooring was slightly hard on your feet
