Compass Bay Resort - Close to Disney

Close to Disney, AC was Lush, pool was nice, beds super comfortable, fast WiFi, tvs in all rooms, decent size fridge freezer with ice maker, spare bedding and towels.

Multiple broken/non working things around the house, banister broken, a few lights out, rear garden area needs some TLC, stand along bathroom upstairs toilet seat broken, couldn’t get the shower to work, dead cockroach on arrival, all upstairs sinks slow to drain. Water pressure wasn’t the greatest. Took the property 8 days to respond. By day 11 they said they’d get maintenance out. We said don’t worry as there’s only 6 days of our holiday left.

Great place for the price. Was clean for the most part, could use some updating but not too bad. We had 11 people staying and there was plenty of room. Easy entry in and out. Pool was not heated and a lil chilly but kids enjoyed it. Only downfall was parking. Everyone parked on side of the road which was narrow and made it difficult to get in our drive because they were parked in on each side of the drive way.

Location

There was no patio to sit out side. It stated 3 bath rooms . Only 2 and a toilet and sink. There was hairs in showers when we arrived. No ironing board. We had to contact agent as cleaner had locked the bathroom door so they had to send someone out. The agent did respond to both the times I called very promptly.

The location is great! Really convenient to get to Disney parks and large shopping centers with great prices, lots of places to eat around.

The main issue was the beds. The house came with the cheapest mattress you can find. All of us had horrible time sleeping on these. My cousin slept on the carpet with a blanket spread on top for 10 days because it was more comfortable than the actual bed. This affected all of us during our time in Orlando.

As a typical townhouse, its location was conveniently located near grocery stores, restaurants, and the Disney parks. The photos for the home are accurate, but do not tell the full story. (See what I didn't like) The home provided a private place to put our stuff while we explored the city. The coffee maker, refrigerator, and stove-top worked just fine.

This townhouse is older and not very well maintained. The carpet is dirty. Water pressure is extremely low, making it difficult to take a shower. Both sinks in the master bathroom drained extremely slow. There was mold in the master shower and the kid's bathroom. The longer couch seat is sunken in. The no-stick pots and pans in the kitchen are heavily scratched, risking ingestion of the no-stick material. The front and back yards are not maintained well.

Communication with the owner and the easy means of access (gate & door codes) was a big plus. Good location, less than 20 minutes to Disney and very quiet. Large Master Bedroom closet was perfect room for toddler.

Living Room furniture was cheap and worn; not very comfortable.

I like this property so much definitely i will book it again close to every attraction good location
