This home is beautiful, and we felt so welcomed from the moment we arrived. Our hosts went above and beyond, offering incredible food, great recommendations, and warm hospitality that made our time here truly special. One of the highlights was spending time with all the lovely animals—we will definitely miss them! The experience has been unforgettable, and we can’t wait to return to the Philippines, hopefully soon. If you’re planning a trip to Camiguin, we highly recommend staying here. Staying at Gelt and Janice's little paradise in the mountain has been truly a memorable experience. The breakfasts, the garden, the views, the stonehouse and above all the fantastic easygoing hosts have made our stay there one of the highlights of our trip to the Philippines, and I am sure one to remember forever. There is nothing to dislike.

Even though I only stayed two nights, Janice and Gelt made me feel home. Their home in the mountains of Camiguin was exactly what I was looking for: a relaxing retreat in the nature. From the details and decoration of the Stonehouse, the lush green garden, and tasting healthy, homegrown veggies and fruit as well as banana cake and ice cream while chatting. I wished I could have stayed longer!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Janice´s and Gelt´s idyllic retreat, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Nestled in a peaceful location with breathtaking views, this accommodation offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Janice and Gelt were incredibly kind, flexible, and genuinely caring. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel right at home with their warm and welcoming communication. They were always available to help with any request and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. One of the highlights of my visit was the exceptional cooking. Every meal was a delightful experience, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and expertly prepared dishes that left me eagerly anticipating the next meal. And the coffee – it was simply the best! Each cup was a testament to their dedication to quality and their passion for great coffee. If you’re looking for a tranquil getaway with amazing views, outstanding hospitality, and unforgettable food, this is the place to be. I left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and incredibly grateful for the wonderful experience. I can’t wait to return!

Janice and Gelt are just wonderful Host's. The Stonehouse they built is a beautiful piece of architecture. Very unique build and interior design, with all the facilities one needs. The view is a dream! Overlooking the ocean including Mantigue Island or you look behind and see the beautiful forest. You are up in the Mountain so the only thing you hear is nature, far away from the traffic noise. The food they cook is absolutely delicious with organic ingredients from their land. The food is so good I think I gained a couple of kg's 😋 but the best is just the absolutely wonderful Host's that they are. Very interesting humans to talk to and spend time with (if you choose too, they are very respectful of your privacy). They helped us out with everything they could. I would give a 100 stars but I can only give 10 😊 we loved meeting you guys, thank you for everything, till next time. Jordan and Barbara

Amazing, friendly, welcoming hosts, 2 very handsome guard dogs. The location is spectacular. Breakfast is sensational.

There are not enough stars, no number big enough to rate properly the stay we had at Gert and Janice’s. The little and charming stone house in their garden is just simply amazing, with all the confort needed and great accommodations. The location, on the top of the hill offers great views on the sea and on Mantigue Island below. It also has a cooler climate, which felt really nice in a journey in the Philippines where it can be really hot sometimes. A true oasis of the Camiguin heights. But most of all, our hosts were the nicest, very kind, considerate and lovely. We really enjoyed spending time with them. The breakfasts were the best meals we had in the country so far, after a month and a half traveling around. Everything is fresh and comes from their own garden or nearby, so they can make sure of the origin and healthiness of their products, and it is of course delicious, very well prepared by the couple. We extended our stay, and still were sorry to leave. They made our stay in Camiguin simply unbelievable and unforgettable. We couldn’t be more grateful for their welcome, and simply to have met such nice people in a paradise place.
