Sadly one of the bedrooms was above a commercial walk in freezer and humming from that disturbed sleep intermittently all through night. Patio door from lounge to communal balcony had no key so could be opened by anyone.
IEApartment 2 @ClifdenAppartments was really lovely. Really cosy and comfy beds - with a great lounging area to settle into after the day. For us, we found September was a great time to visit - just after peak season, but still getting the buzz around the shops and pubs. Really good food options nearby between restaurants and pubs. Everything is within a leisurely strolling distance, including the new Steam cafe. Oh Lowrys bar was super as were the Seaweed baths - both are located next door which was an unexpected surprise! Based on Market St, the bus stop is 200m down the street so getting to and from Clifden was really easy from Galway City.

CHThe apartment is located right in the heart of Clifden and has a fantastic view over the Bay. Very well-equipped kitchen. Lovely bedrooms with comfortable beds. The apartment is great for rainy and sunny days, as you can enjoy the view either from the living room or the balcony.
We had some issues with the toilet (blocking, toilet lid is not properly fixed), but got quick help so that it was better afterwards. Also, the house is a bit noisy (whirring from the fridge, elevator and other things, we could not really locate it). It did not bother us that much, but if you are a light sleeper it might be good to know.
