Seashell Luxury Residence - Studio 2

Great location, very near a great beach and taverna serving delicious food. Lovely pool and shaded, comfortable outdoor space. Easy parking and good beds.

The studio is located at a 15 minutes drive from Lixouri. It haa a great tavern at 5min walk. The beach in front is nice and one can see the sunset from it. The room is large, has all the necessary equipment and is right next to the pool. I feel it is even better than the apartments, as it has the nice terrace in front, next to the lawn. I really enjoyed drinking the morning coffee admiring the sea and the nice vegetation of the yard. The pool is clean, has 10m in length. I suppose it depends on the luck of what people check in at the same time, but our experience felt peaceful and really quiet. The room was cleaned and the towels were changed every 2 days. The shower has uninterrupted hot water. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a classical nespresso coffee machine and they sell coffee pods for it in Lixouri markets. Thre is an iron and hairdryer. The bedsin the studio are twin beds. As to beaches, it os a 6 min drive from a really nice small pebbled beach and 30 min drive from Petani and Ag Eleni beaches, some of the best on the island. I would fully recommend the place as i feel it was great value for the money we spent during high season. Be aware though that the ciccadas can get really noisy in the morning, so it would be advisable that light sleepers bring some ear plugs.

I feel thst the key to the door should be sepparate, so that when we stay at the pool we could have the AC running (it can get really hot inside) without having to worry that we could get locked outside. Also, if one wakes up earlier could get out of the room without turning down the AC. There is also one thing i would change and that is the fire emergency light or whatever shines at the entrance. It is really shiny and can get annoying during sleep.

The small homely complex is set in a beautiful garden with the sea just beyond. The pool area is relaxing and has some shade as the day progresses when the heat of the day is so hot.🌞 It was either totally ours or shared with 3 or 4 other people at the most. The apartment is spotlessly clean and towels replenished and housekeeping every couple of days. There are enough utensils and pots etc there to make a meal/breakfast and all mod cons to make the essentials of life(coffee, tea, toast etc). A welcome pack that had a little oil and vinegar was useful for those Greek salads! The beds are extremely comfy, the air con is very welcome and it's quiet, we slept really well. A TV and hair dryer and enough storage to hang and put things away. The bathroom has a hand held and over shower in the cubicle and is modern and efficient. There is a shaded veranda with comfy seating and table to sit outside your apartment. Such a pretty, restful place. Vatsa beach was just perfect locally but many beaches to chose from and a couple of restaurants within walking distance with many more a short drive away. Good supermarket 10-12 mins drive away. There is good wifi. There are no nightclubs the loudest thing you'll hear are the cicadas! We had a lovely time, thank you very much.😊
