Amazing house with a brilliant fire place and bar area. Very quiet and peaceful and loved spending time by the pool.

The pool table is unplayable - cues are all broken and stuck together with tape and table is ripped. DSTV doesn’t work.

Very tranquil and peaceful little cottage. Comfortable bedding and linen. Nice pool and braai facilities. Lots to do in close proximity to the reserve.

Kitchen equipment is very old and needs to be replaced. Fridge didn't work well. Vegetation was very overgrown so we couldn't go for walks on the trails or see any animals.

The moment we walked into Imani Bush House, we knew our stay was going to be unforgettable. The beauty of nature and the peaceful surroundings was exactly what we needed, after flying from the UK. Tranquility, privacy, relaxation, beauty, and luxury are some words to describe our stay. We stayed in the Bush House. It has two lovely bedrooms (large) with its own en-suite bathrooms. (I used the outdoor shower once) Our 4 year old son loved the plunge pool and it was the first time he swam without a float! We loved the braai (BBQ) area and outdoor bar. The open plan kitchen/living room was superb and comfortable. We got to feed bush babies at night and we went on a few trail walks. Although it rained, we managed to find two lovely restaurants- Rafikis and Delish. We highly recommend both!

The facilities lounge kitchen area and two bedrooms in the main dwelling looked comfortable and air conditioner in this area only. The pool was welcome at temperatures ranging from 38 to 41.5 Deg C. The boma area on the other side with central fireplace for braaiing was pleasant to sit around and enjoy the outdoor bush experience. There are very nice walks through the forest with wild game as it is inside the Kuleni Game Park.

The location was 40 minutes, over 31 km's from Hluhluwe game reserve. There was no air-conditioning in the rooms in the main dwelling and the boma room on the other side where my wife and I stayed was unbearable at 38 to 41.5 Deg C, the ceiling fan was ineffective so we had to rely on a small fan stuck on a shelf in the cupboard, the wire cord being too short to reach any closer to our bed to try sleep. This is not a place I would recommend in summer. This room also was in serious need of maintenance the bathroom door was scraping on the floor and had even scraped a deep mark into the floor, so had been like this for a long time we really battled to open and close it and made the whole experience unpleasant. The main dwelling has a 4* rating but without aircon in the rooms this cannot be more than a 3*. The outside room I would rate no more than a 2* at best. The pool whilst pleasant had a palm on the edge on the one side with 20 to 30cm sharp thorns it was absolutely treacherous and could easily poke out an eye and cause serious injury. I cut them all off so our grandkids could swim without injuring themselves.
