The cleanliness and friendly hosts

The house is beautiful everything is immaculate and we were left a lovely box of things x Also all cleaning products etc where there and everything else you may need.

What a beautiful little house! Great location, short drive or bus ride into Bath. After a day out we came back and walked across the river to The Bathampton Mill pub one evening. The house itself has everything you could need. Beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean. Our girls, 6 & 12, loved the board games and all the treats left for us. We were sad we couldn’t stay longer!

The accommodation was superb. Spotlessly clean and very welcoming with a lovely hamper full of goodies, and milk, orange juice and butter in the fridge. The decor was very tasteful and everything was very well catered for with fluffy towels, lovely bed linen and soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the bathroom. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend.

The only thing we found quite tricky was the lane to and from the property is quite narrow with parked cars along one side. It was difficult to manoeuvre our large car (BMW 7 Series) but we managed and the parking space at the actual property was more than adequate.

The house was beautiful, tastefully decorated, and had everything you could need for break away. The communication from the host was brilliant before our stay and during. They certainly know how to make their guests feel special. The extra touches like the welcome board, hamper, and toiletries to use whilst there, just completed the experience. The house is in a lovely village just outside of Bath, but you can easily drive into the centre, get a bus, or walk along the river/canal. There are also other beautiful places to visit, like Lacock and Catle Combe, within a short driving distance. I can definitely recommend staying here 😊

Nothing it was great.

We had a wonderful stay at Julie and Matthew’s place. It was exactly as advertised and even included a couple of lovely extras that we weren’t expecting. Parking was easy and the house was beautifully presented for our arrival. It is a straight forward 10 minute drive into central Bath with bus stops right out the front of that is your preference. Being a little bit out of the city centre means that it is an easy drive to see other sights around Bath. We didn’t manage to do the canal walk into town, so we have a perfect excuse to return next time we are in the UK.
