Burgess Yard 2-bedroom cottage, Bath

This was a wonderful house for a short stay near to Bath. It is in a quiet cul-de-sac in Batheaston, and it was a very short walk to a bus stop for a frequent bus service into Bath. We enjoyed the local Fish and Chip Shop and walked up Solsbury Hill which is just outside the village, for wonderful views towards Bath and of the surrounding area. The property was clean, confortable and warm. The kitchen was very well equipped and we especially enjoyed the varied range of books and games available. We would definitely recommend this house and would consider staying again!

The property was spotlessly clean, the welcome basket was a lovely touch. It also had a cute little courtyard of the front room and off road parking at the front of the property. The location was perfect, a lovely 45 minute walk into the Centre of Bath or you could hop on a bus at the end of the of the road, we didn’t use our car whilst we were there. We will definitely be back to stay.

Just the perfect place to stay to visit Bath and its surroundings. Julie is so welcoming, the house is spotless and very comfortable and located perfectly. Great for walks and visits to Bath.

Outside patio could have an umbrella or some sort of shading, otherwise perfect

The cottage was absolutely perfect for our group. There was plenty of room for all of us (3 adults and a toddler), and we were especially happy to have a potty, a high chair and a (good quality) baby cot. All these things made our stay much less stressful! The location was great, the bus stop towards the centre was literally only a minute away. Honestly we had no notes, this place was great and would love to come back one day. Thank you to our lovely host Julie for being so helpful and kind!

Parking is tough, but manageable. It is a tight street to navigate.

Don’t hesitate to book! A home away from home. The cottage had everything we required for our short stay. Salt, pepper, milk, butter, laundry and dishwashing tablets, nice little welcome basket. Literally everything!!! Comfortable couch and outdoor area. We loved the board games as well. Will definitely recommend to our friends and family. Thank you Julie and Mathew for a wonderful stay.
