Groseko La Zurriola - IB. Apartments

The apartment was big and clean. It was exactly like the photos. Good wifi and clean bathroom. The host was very helpful and welcomed us at the door. The location was very good, on a road with restaurants and shops.

There was no air conditioning and the weather was really hot. There were 2 fans, one in each room. There was a smell in the apartment because it was closed all day and when we try to open a window the smell was worse because of the restaurants' kitchens.

Great location!!! Super close to the Zurriola surfing beach and to some nice restaurants. Quiet - the entrance is in a busy pedestrian area, but the apartment faces the opposite way. Bathroom and kitchen are well fitted. Iñigo is nice and responsive, communication has been very good before and during the rent.

The apartment has 2 issues which impact the quality of the stay: 1. ventilation: the only 2 rooms with "real" windows are facing the same side, which is towards many other buildings, so with little ventilation. Bathroom, kitchen and small bedroom face towards a "shared indoor" area created within the building with a plastic roof on top, which however lacks fresh air and is full of dust / paint scraps falling from the walls above. 2. light: you basically cannot see the sky from either window - it's really dark inside
