How to collect keys and access lock box had to be asked repeatedly even 2 hrs before allowed entry after 3pm. A few days before holiday commenced, same questions were asked , no reply from host. 2 days before commencement date of stay, had to ring morning and afternoon before host answered the phone. If he had not, I would have cancel the accomodation .

Excellent position, clean & comfortable with friendly & helpful host

Needed a coffee table in the lounge and a full length mirror for us little people. Not really a complaint as it was lovely.

Great location. My family enjoyed the space of the lovely house. Great amenities.

Shame the little garden didn't have seating to sit out at night. The curtains need some tie backs to let the light in. Need some lamps in the lounge area as the big light annoying at night

What I thought could be improved is there are no lamps in the lounge so you either have the main light on or the light from the dining area There are no side tables in the lounge so you either constantly hold a drink or put it on the floor The curtains in the lounge are in 3 pieces and are almost impossible to pull back. We made some makepiece tiebacks - but the windows were absolutely filthy I am sure I saw a description of a garden - it is a yard and needs attention to make it attractive to sit in

Super clean! Very well decorated and modern look. Comfortable beds. Just a short wander to the front/town. Friendly owner.

Could've done with more seating in the living room so we could spread out a bit. And maybe a clean washing up sponge/cloth.

No blinds in the house so couldn't open curtains as no privacy, coukd do with a bigger sofa if more than two people where staying at the property, there was, also a leak coming from the bathroom into the kitchen we informed the owner when we left and they said they would deal with it ASAP

It was bigger than expected - I think the copy mentioned it was an apartment but turns out it was the whole house. High ceilings made it feel large and airy. Central to the house was the delightful dining area - a nice place for us to hang out, eat meals and play tabletop games. The kitchen was very well appointed and nice to cook in with everything we could possibly need. Quality cookware (often in these places you get cheap stuff - decent stuff pans and cookware here) Lots of nice tasteful decoration touches gave it a homely feel. Everything was super clean. Nice little back yard with a mini chimera (didn’t use but a nice touch) Quiet residential street - very quiet at night. Great access to town - just a short walk - and a nice park / gardens area 5 mins walk west. Parking was fine - we parked right outside , the other car a few doors down. The person we were speaking with (Dan) was very nice and genuinely caring that we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The area was fantastic - highly recommend the Seaview Restaurant (book in advance for upstairs dining) The beach was an absolute gem. Walking up to Marske (followed by a few tipples in the pubs there) and train back to Saltburn for £3

Minor gripe - the sitting room chair / sofa layout wasn’t the best for our party composition - we wanted watch a movie but this involved some sitting on the floor - not a big deal though. The only other thing was how the doors into the dining room were tricky when everyone was seated round the table - again, not a big deal though.
