Lakeside property with spa access on a nature reserve Pochard HM109

Lovely view over a lake.

Second bedroom was classified as a double, but small double bed, cramped space and very little storage Overall, fixtures and fittings did not match our expectations given the high cost of the accommodation and compared with other properties we have stayed in nearby,

We had a fantastic week here. The apartment was clean, comfortable with a stunning view of the lake. The management company were supportive with any needs we had. It was safe for my 2 children to have the freedom to ride their bikes around. We hired a paddle board and Kayak and explored the lakes. The pub food was nice and staff were friendly (i would advise booking for the evening meal as it gets busy)

The location of our apartment could have been better sign posted as the park is very big, we got very lost trying to find it and only found it via phone direction from the management company as there were 2 turnings with no sign posts to our lake, and make sure you get the code to the front gate and key lock ahead of arrival, as we had neither and our first access to get in was difficult. Coming form Singapore we were travelling on a E-Simm so we could not phone the landline to get help. Luckily i was with my father who had a local mobile. Don't travel here with an e-simm, get a local one as you will need to call the management company and local taxi numbers and if you want to get a food delivery you will aslo need a local number. Our guess also couldn't get in for dinner because the gate was un-manned and locked and we were not given a code to get in to the estate, it was resolved by the restaurant staff eventually.
