Center Funchal - Atlantic View Stay

Wasn’t able to stay at the property and had to find alternate accommodation .

Two young women were left stranded abroad after midnight despite pre-agreed late check-in. The host was uncontactable for over 3 hours despite repeated calls and messages. When they eventually responded, their replies were dismissive and they failed to provide access or assistance. We were forced to secure alternative accommodation at our own expense. This was a completely unacceptable and unsafe experience. I would strongly advise others not to book this property. Please read this before booking as I never write bad reviews though the whole process and experience with booking.com & the host was extremely upsetting. Told the host we were due for late check in and I whatsapped them several messages and rang them with no response . I rang booking .com customer services to be told we have to wait 45 mins for host to respond . No response and then was on the phone to another person for an hour to be told they are awaiting a price increase approval for a new hotel, then they never responded so rang again and was told the host has now answered and so we can stay at the hotel . Despite us saying we were ringing with no response . The host finally answered once we started going to different hotels to get a place to stay and their first response at 2 in the morning was “why so late” and they didn’t apologise once but argued we didn’t follow instructions which we did , he said he has too much messages as if that was our fault that he is incapable of running his business correctly. As we were stranded with no where to stay we were getting harassed by drunk men and it felt totally unsafe. It was a shame and started the holiday of wrong. I asked the owner for refund which he refused as he is still arguing we didn’t follow instructions . So we had to pay to stay at a new hotel as due to his rude WhatsApp messages we didn’t feel comfortable staying there.

Sehr gute Lage. Unkomplizierte Abwicklung mit der Kontaktperson. Man hatte eine voll ausgestattete Küche zur Verfügung. Es gab die Möglichkeit unser Gepäck noch nach dem Checkout länger vor Ort zu lagern. Preis/Leistung war super.

Das Bad hat einen leicht unangenehmen Geruch. Es gab aber noch ein weiteres Bad, das war in Ordnung.

Perfektní ubytování, čisté, hezké, funkční kuchyň i koupelna s WC, výborná lokalita a skvělá komunikace s hostitelem, který byl na příjmu kdykoliv jsme potřebovali a poradil nám i s tipy na výlety

Chybělo nádobí - pouze jedna lžíce na celou kuchyň, také varná konvice nefungovala

Все сподобалось) Чудове місце розташування, все в пішій доступності, декілька хвилин від помешкання. Є кухня з усім необхідним. Чудовий вид на океан 🥰 Тепла кімната і зручне ліжко. Приємний господар.
