The property was modern, light and a perfect distance from the city centre

The sofa wasn’t the comfiest but we still managed to settle down in the evening and watch a movie and it didn’t bother us.

Grace was a fabulous host with great communication and she even left us a cake in the fridge which was a lovely touch. The apartment was modern and decorated really tastefully in neutral tones. The apartment itself was easy to find and located within easy walking distance to the centre of York, in a nice quiet neighborhood. We came for a weekend away for a gig on the Friday and then Saturday it was lovely to chill in the apartment after a day out walking around York.

Ideal as a base for a couple or single person. We wanted somewhere private, in a safe location with easy access to the city by foot and this was perfect. It was clean and well maintained with everything we needed. The location is super quiet, and in a lovely area with access to a small shop next door and a small CoOp a 5 minute walk.

Some things to be aware of - but not the end of the world: The shower cubicle is very narrow so if you are a larger person it would’ve difficult to move around in No television in the bedroom We saw this as somewhere to eat and sleep in privacy and for convenience and it was perfect for that. it is small and it’s not somewhere we could have spent a lot of time during the day because it is so small - but if your looking for something more personal than a hotel room - this is perfect.

Great location for visiting York. Clean bright modern apartment.
