"We stayed for Brixham Pirate festival and had a great time."

We were close enough to the harbour to walk and far enough away for it to be quiet. The property it's self was great. Very modern and clean.

The walk up hill to get back haha. We got a taxi back so it was fine.

"Wow, a fantastic little getaway"

Fabulous location and with a footpath across to Berry Head, the dog thoroughly enjoyed himself. The thoughtfulness of the hosts, in providing milk, tea, coffee and biscuits. Loved it.

It was wonderful. Modern, clean, bright, fresh. Just what I needed for elderly couple and myself to stay in . Easy parking. Access to Brixham was simple and close. Perfect. Hosts went above and beyond . Neighbours were very welcoming.

Very comfortable and spotlessly clean accommodation. Very well equipped. Parking easy. Hosts very friendly and very helpful. Came immediately when asked how the electric hobs worked. Rooms calmly decorated and bed comfortable.

Heating could have been better. Unfortunately it was a very cold spell and rooms took a little time to warm up as they were on a timer. Very sensible for them and one does not expect v cold spells even in February. Advised that they should state that it is a 100 yards walk from the road/parking for anyone with walking difficulties.

"Well named - the perfect Getaway!"

The property was really well supplied with furnishings, kitchen equipment and information. It had lots of lovely features that made the place a really attractive and comfortable place to stay. We would have liked to have stayed longer and will be our first choice if we come to Brixham again.

The only (very minor) downside was that we had to park a short walk from the cottage which is no problem at all for most people but a bit more challenging for the less mobile. Certainly would NOT put us off staying again though.
