24 Valley Lodge Holiday Cottage

Checking in was so easy and simple. Our Hosts couldn't be more helpful and made sure we had all the information we needed.

The one way to our lodge was confusing late at night on arrival but we worked it out in daylight. Not a dislike though just an observation, or not in my case ;)

When we first got there we thought what a lovely lodge. Then we realised that the lodge was not fit for purpose with no heating or lighting .

There was no electric upstairs , there was a problem with the electrical circuit board . A man offered the lodge as stated no20 We were offered an alternative lodge but this wasn’t what I booked but turned out ok.

Quiet location , room for the five of us and two dogs

The smell coming from back bathroom wafted through the house unfortunately.

Excellent rural location with each lodge being private. The manor house provides a closeby and convenient pub, restaurant, gym and swimming pool. Great base to explore the Tamar valley and we would recommend Calstock (we got lucky with a lovely sunny October day)

The location was great.

As we walked in the lodge it had an awful smell of drains/food which was really unpleasant.The Kitchen had not be cleaned properly the bins were full,fridge was really dirty,work tops were full of crumbs, general clean for the whole property was very disappointing!We stayed in another lodge 2 years ago which was amazing.We really feel the cleaners need to be checked.
